Classifications this year: Bonis 10-6-4 in the finish each stage (except TT)Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 4:36 pmThanks guys for all the work!
I didn't have the time to follow all the discussion... Are discussions still ongoing? Or is everything final?

Re: Le Tour 2026
Thanks, Hansa!
You gotta love ASO for their rule changes
I will try to implement it.
Another one here for the TTT
Previously in a TTT, you had to wait for min. 5 riders. Now it will be possible to wait for min. 1 rider (which technically means that rider is not waiting for anyone else).

This rule change will be tested in tomorrow's one day race TTT:The stage result will be determined by the first rider from each team to cross the line.
For the general classification, however, every rider will receive his own finishing time.

Re: Le Tour 2026
Does it mean, if it’s working well it will be implemented in Tour de France too?Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 11:24 pmThanks, Hansa!

Re: Le Tour 2026
Cant imagine that working well in rsf, if i remember the TTT world championships that means a lone time trialist might be faster than a whole team in rsf which doesnt make much sense on 20kms.Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 11:24 pmThanks, Hansa!

Re: Le Tour 2026
Is the energy loss for dropped riders fixed before we have this big change 3 days before TdF starts?

Re: Le Tour 2026
Agree with Hansa.
Unfortunately doing wrong inscription with Tour the Suisse and finished the all team on 35min. after peloton the first stage (so no GC money) i have no money to ride this test TTT.
Stage 2 is updated (adjust the decrease)
So i am done (checked)

Re: Le Tour 2026
Maybe we can go for "a way between"?
Instead of min 5 riders finishing, min 3 riders (4 riders)?
Or just keep it the old proved way?
Just watch the test TTT first
(1 good TT-er in front of a train for many km'ers wont make sense)

Re: Le Tour 2026
Trying a comparison for the 10h TTT:
Bryan Ramirez (God v Godess), a 87 TT guy, indeed looked very strong 'alone' on the first few km, but riding alone over 20km he lost energy, and eventually lost some ground to teams riding with more than one rider at the beginning.
He finished 1'43'' behind the winning team and for example 1'15'' behind Piotr Wiwczarek, who is also a 87 TT guy (56 MT vs 51 MT).
He also finished 5'' behind a group of 3 riders with 75/61/58 TT from Pinkblue Cycling, but that's not only TT-skill related but also MT-skill related.
Overall, I probably agree riders 'alone' are a bit too strong (at least on 20km, maybe not on 30 or 40km) compared to reality, even though we have never seen Ganna or Pogacar ride alone vs. their team

Re: Le Tour 2026
Is there a difference in power consumption of a single rider riding alone vs. a single rider riding in his team (all others doing no tempo) in case he doesn't need to wait for a guy? Because my intuition would say there isn't. Because if I am right here, it is not different to before, [unrealistic?] one rider riding faster against whole team riding argumentation. It was possible before it is possible now.Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 10:26 amTrying a comparison for the 10h TTT:

And I would assume that the energy loss of the dropped team is similar as before (which I never really knew as I am usually not having big TT gaps) and they also don't have any mass energy saving effect even if the are equally strong (or does the energy distribution also counts for subgroups as SWP's 2 guys behind?)
In general: Nice to add this new ruling. Looks like it works well

Re: Le Tour 2026
My main issue is that from what I hear, it takes way more energy to ride a TTT for riders than to ride an ITT, at least once the team isn't complete anymore (not sure in that case). Will test some stuff out myself, but seems like doing a "solo" ride in a TTT would consume a multitude of energy compared to an ITT, which doesn't make sense imo. On the other hand I get that this is needed to get some malus when riding alone vs teams sticking together.

Re: Le Tour 2026
True. But this could be changed in a future development by adding more reg. I really like the power effect in the TTT. So the relative speed differences work quite well imo. Give back some energy right after the end of the TTT (as is done for the sprint) and you could balance this a bit better.Falcor CC wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 11:02 amMy main issue is that from what I hear, it takes way more energy to ride a TTT for riders than to ride an ITT, at least once the team isn't complete anymore (not sure in that case). Re: Le Tour 2026
I thought it would be worse, but looks kinda good. Stage results might a bit strange with solo tt guys possible taking good spots but for GC times it lookes like it will be ok.

Re: Le Tour 2026
Have implemented the Coefficients. There are now 4 types
- Mountain
- Hilly
- Flat
- UltraFlat (new!)
You can view them in Calendar and in the Prize Money calculations (Calendar & Manual)
Can you double-check the stage classifications? Just trying to avoid mistakes ^^

Nice. I will publish it early tomorrow, unless there are any more comments on profiles.
