All stages are flat, except maybe 9a, I don't know the % of last hill.luques wrote:Big Flat (7flat stage) vs Big MountainsPokemon Club wrote:hum on parallel of Andes...why not lol

This would be a good race for the lower divisions.Pokemon Club wrote:hum on parallel of Andes...why not lol

Re: November 2013
A real race during the off season good only for lower division when some fantasy are free for all, not agreeAlkworld wrote:This would be a good race for the lower divisions.Pokemon Club wrote:hum on parallel of Andes...why not lol
Re: November 2013
A real race with the lowest category, incredibly boring profiles with none of the high-ranked teams vs. the mother of all RSF fantasy tours. I still have my opinion.Pokemon Club wrote:A real race during the off season good only for lower division when some fantasy are free for all, not agreeAlkworld wrote:This would be a good race for the lower divisions.Pokemon Club wrote:hum on parallel of Andes...why not lol

Re: November 2013
so you want to make it div 6+7 with maybe 5 teams?
Re: November 2013
Less editions of this stage race would solve that as well. Div 5-8 would also be ok.ProTour-Team wrote:so you want to make it div 6+7 with maybe 5 teams?

You are not objective. It isn't because it is boring that it should be a race for (div 6-7) if leso put it in calendar. Paris Tour is boring as hell on rsf and it is on cat 5.
But during winter season nothing for me justify that a race is only for low division if it is put on calendar. Program it or not, it is all.

You think except your teams nobody from D6-7 would start?ProTour-Team wrote:so you want to make it div 6+7 with maybe 5 teams?
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!

Re: November 2013
I perfectly understand the point of view of sprinter teams (Poke, RFM but surely others prefer Bolivia to Andes), they see Bolivia as the water in the desert.
Indeed they don't have much to do in Andes.
I don't like actually the idea of making Bolivia a lower div race or go in parallel, first because in any case leso will put some fantasy flat tours to compensate Andes Tour (or anyway this will be asked to him), and second by putting 2 long tours + 1 day race i fear a lack of participants.
Actually last year Andes started on 10/11, this tour will end on 10/11, shifting by one day Andes or anticipate of 1 day Tour of Bolivia and make them consequent? (i already see many times a variation of day for cat1.2 or 2.2 race)
P.S. Actually i like the idea of Big Flat vs Big Mountain, to give both climber/classic team and sprinter team their tour, more than a lack of participants in tours (if run in parallel) i fear a luck of players in one-day-race.

I'm as subjective as you are, what else could I be?Pokemon Club wrote:You are not objective. It isn't because it is boring that it should be a race for (div 6-7) if leso put it in calendar. Paris Tour is boring as hell on rsf and it is on cat 5.

What I'm saying is that from real cycling's perspective Bolivia is as relevant as "Rund um den Misthaufen" unlike Paris - Tours, which was mostly boring because of the new way the sprint works. I have no problems at all with a small sprinter tour in November, something that's been less than tours for classic riders and climbers recently. What I don't like to see is parallel tours from the beginning to the end of the month with barely frequented one-day races. Around a week ago we had lots of great one-day races because finally there was barely any tour in parallel and we were racing with 15-20 teams (finally I'm not making shitloads of money). What I also would like to see, are good groups for the Campeonato de los Andes.
Re: November 2013
How is it with the times for Anden ?
is the time from 10-24.11 Ok or would it be better 3-17.11 ?
Are 5 times (10-15-18-20-22) too much ?
4 times : 10-16-19-21 better ?

Re: November 2013
Mmh, ape votes for 14h in the afternoon because Alk said that then he would start! (not sure if he would start at 15h too, then the ape would be for 15h as well )
Otherwise, 4 or 5... hard question. Just don't cancel the afternoon. Even if we probably had the least participants last year....

Re: November 2013
I am more for 4 editions...something like 10h - 14h - 18h(19) - 21h(22) 3aybe
Re: November 2013
We'll need one day more as a rest day is planned after stage 9, ideally on a Monday. 2.11. -17.11. or09.11. - 24.11. would then make most sense. With having the Bolivia tour in mind, the early version 2.11. - 17.11. might be a good idea to have them both completely in parallel. Then it would be easier to have some tour-free days later in November for some good one-day races.lesossies wrote:How is it with the times for Anden ?

By the way, be careful with the stages as I changed the whole design again in early October. For some stages, there's an andes13_XX and andes13_XXa. In those cases, the one with the suffix is the current version.

I'm starting in the afternoon, and 15h is even better for me. But 14h is also fine.Robyklebt wrote:Mmh, ape votes for 14h in the afternoon because Alk said that then he would start! (not sure if he would start at 15h too, then the ape would be for 15h as well )

Re: November 2013
one possibilty:
Anden 10,15,18,21
Bolivia 12,20,23
November could look like this:

Re: November 2013
The plan got a 13 instead a 12 o clock for bolivia.
I´m not sure about both times. Do I remember that wrong or is 12/13 o clock the worst time for tours at all? Okay, it can get some manager from 14-15 o clock and some from the morning, but at all I believe its a lost tour.
At all the calender looks fine.
