Re: January 2026
Thanks Gip, what about Tukhs suggestion in the other thread:
What do we think about 1. not cutting any stages and 2. having another vote on the Jan Tour? I think we should be clear on this to further plan anything.Tukhtahuaev wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 9:58 amI also wouldn't mind not cutting.
Alternatively we could tell the stages to cut in the presentation already and have a seperate vote for January Tour with all remaining tours

Also on AlUla Tour:
"The early-season Saudi event takes a decisive step forward, as the race has been added to the 2026 ProSeries calendar, whereas previous editions were held as a 2.1 event." Shouldnt it be Cat 3 then? Its the same as Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana etc.

Re: January 2026
This is a copy from the winter suggestion preview, but because of the December tour/short tours parallel completely killing the one day races, we'll have to adjust January. Libya cut, Tunisian roads move to after the January tour on 14/01. With that Kisoro (the cat3 classic) move back to 07/01 parallel to the tour instead.
Times for the Australian East Cost, 10-15-20-23 (basically swaped Dec-Jan tours times from last year) should be ok for most?
For 2026 we'll include some of the UCI gravel races, one each month. It starts on 26/01 with The Ceder, most the races will probably be moved to a different date than real life but that's ok. It'll be a gravel race series ingame for it.

This should be a discussion for next years I think. But I agree, I very much dislike the random cuts that changes the tours.Nomorelulz wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 6:04 pmThanks Gip, what about Tukhs suggestion in the other thread:

Re: January 2026
Tunisian Roads? That's my race! Great, didn't believe it could make it to any calendar
Re: January 2026
Cutting tours totally suck. Cut one day races!cataracs wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 7:35 pmThis is a copy from the winter suggestion preview, but because of the December tour/short tours parallel completely killing the one day races, we'll have to adjust January. Had Libya already planned…

Re: January 2026
With Libya out, and if you are convinced of the concept, you can put January Tour at max 14 days, with an tiny overlap with Tunisia. But you'd probably need to cut 1-2 editions each.

Re: January 2026
I like January Tour back to all stages, cutting 5 and 6 takes out 2 Classic Stages. Now its basically either Flat or Mountain / Mountain with Pave..Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 9:01 pmWith Libya out, and if you are convinced of the concept, you can put January Tour at max 14 days, with an tiny overlap with Tunisia. I don't want to change the January tour procedures for this year, but we can continue the discussion about the future.Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 15, 2025 9:01 pmWith Libya out, and if you are convinced of the concept, you can put January Tour at max 14 days, with an tiny overlap with Tunisia. In my opinion it should be cut completely. We can instead use a short tour in the first week, then move the pavés tour from October (that is full of real Italian classics) and put it in the second week of January to finish the offseason with it.
With the changes we'll have tours from 3 to 13 then 14 to 18 then 20 to 25 then 27 to 31. Only 4 days without tours, do you really think you should ask for more?

Calvia looks the same, all other Mallorca races look different from last years, will wait for website to upload maps. Ses Salines is a TTT this year, I built it from roadbook.
