Re: Le Tour 2025
I think it's good to publish. I probably won't have time to check the details of more stages by the weekend. If someone want to do it, feel free to do it fast

Re: Le Tour 2025
I just realised that our classification of the stages is not quite correct. From the rulebook (https://storage-aso.lequipe.fr/ASO/cycl ... ent-v2.pdf):

So
1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 15, 17, 21 should be flat
6, 16, 20 should be hilly
10, 12, 14, 18, 19 should be mountain
5, 13 should be ITT

1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 11, 15, 17, 21 should be flat
6, 16, 20 should be hilly
10, 12, 14, 18, 19 should be mountain
5, 13 should be ITT
Re: Le Tour 2025
The ASO hates sprinters. But well, we ride what they are planning for us. I'm still angry about what they have done to Paris - Tours.
Re: Le Tour 2025
Agree about Paris-Tours.
As for hating sprinters, no, they hate points. It's a point jersey, not a sprint jersey, should give equal amount of points on every stage.

Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

My fellow cyclingfreaks: ask not what the game can do for you - ask what you can do for the game.

On the official TdF website, stage 4 is still a hilly stage, btw.: https://www.letour.fr/de/etappe-4Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 10:22 amSo 2,4,7 and 15 needed to be changed from hilly to flat.Tukhtahuaev wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 12:27 pmSo

Re: Le Tour 2025
That is true, but hilly or not doesn't tell us about how many points those stages give. For that you need the categorisation from 1-6 from the rulebookteam fl wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 3:01 pmOn the official TdF website, stage 4 is still a hilly stage, btw.: https://www.letour.fr/de/etappe-4Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 10:22 amSo 2,4,7 and 15 needed to be changed from hilly to flat.Tukhtahuaev wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 12:27 pmSo

Re: Le Tour 2025
And if you check the awarded points it awards 50 points for p1 you can find that on your link, ist sadly not consistend with 3 categorizations on the site but 6 inthe rulebookteam fl wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 3:01 pmOn the official TdF website, stage 4 is still a hilly stage, btw.: https://www.letour.fr/de/etappe-4Gipfelstuermer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 10:22 amSo 2,4,7 and 15 needed to be changed from hilly to flat.Tukhtahuaev wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 12:27 pmSo

Re: Le Tour 2025
If that loop comes again next years, maybe that deserves a ** instead of * ?
If the times were not frozen due to rain by organizers, there would have been small gaps between GC contenders for sure. That loop was ridden really like a classic. cobbles, yes, climb, yes, but also technical parts, many turns. and the hill is hard/steep/cobbled enough to make real differences.
Then switching it to 5% instead of 6% to make it even more "classic" in RSF, is another option/question.
