It isn't trolling. It is always the game which adapt to players, and never players who adapt to the game when I look. Offering the best for players isn't always the same than offering the best for the game itslef.

In any case, one small thing. Currently you put Oman/Colombia 10-18-20 vs Provence 9-14-22. The 18-20 combination seems very close together. Maybe 10-18-22 vs 9-14-20 better? Or at least 10-18-21 for Oman/Colombia? Or 10-19-23? Many things could work but 18-20 combination does not seem ideal...

Change 20-22 Oman (Col) and Provence, yep.

For the weekend NC the possibility would be to have Besseges and Valencia one day early to finish Sat and have the NCs on the Sunday.

If there is no good time for the NC's it would also be okay to postpone them to March or whatever. They should not affect the real races though it is always nice to go for this little flag.

My opinion for Oman is to skip it. It is not like it has a lot of tradition to justify to keep it in.

On a personal note I would really like to see a late edition of Provence as I would love to ride it but of course would have to accept if you choose to change times they way you discussed it.

2 times in morning. Don't we risk here to have tiny groups in group tours and one day race ?
If you think we'll have enough participation to have decent groups in both tours + one day race, it's fine. If there's a high risk of having groups of 2-3-4 teams; maybe just one morning time for tours ?

ps : I'd really appreciate if first tours could be online but Tuesday to know how to set my forms if I can participate to them (according to times offered) as I wont' be near a laptop for almost a week then. Thanks

so san juan tour started


we have:

morning 9h+10h = 15 teams
afternoon 15h = 9 Teams
evening 18h+19h = 16 teams
late 21h+22h = 19 Teams.

So if we have parallel tours i would say we get

morning 2
afternoon 1
evening 2
late 2

so maximum of 7 total editions. maybe 6 would be fine too if we cut one of the evening/late edition.

Plan should be to have 4 tours at 17-19, always 1 of the 2 parallel ones and once both. LIke for the afternoon. Morning the same or one more ok too.

Well, 4 of them are the same with little changes....
Cut one morning, give it to the early evening. Cut either Ruta del Sol or UAE. 2 versions of that each (the other change is with Provence Oman)
1 is cut an evening, Ruta del Sol, making it 10-15-19 and then 9-18-22 for the evening.

Since I'm not sure when Luques will be on and post it, my favorite version which I recommend is this one:

15-19-23 Besseges cat 2
10-14-21 Valencia cat 3

9-14-20 Oman cat 2 (downgraded, since it isn't ridden in reality)
10-18-22 Provence cat 3 (so flipped the times with Oman, since one person requested a late edition)

15-19-22 Ruta del Sol cat 3
10-18-21 UAE cat 3
Flipping the times for the last 2 my second favorite option.

I would change besseges to 14 instead of 15 and valencia 15 intead of 14

So we have 14-19-23 instead 15-19-23
And 10-15-21 instead 10-14-21

Eveything else looks good.

Pretty much O.K. with the most recent Donkeyposal.

Only small thing is, that the evening could sometimes probably take one additional edition. TDU and San Juan was 35 teams riding 4 editions in the evening, and these tours are definitely less prestigious than others, so could probably put out 4 editions for the evening, if some people request more editions (like Freude in the chat). But 3 should be very good, too, can expect ~10 Teams per edition which is fine for everyone I think.

But! Designs!

Still missing Provence, Ruta del Sol & UAE, correct? And maybe even Colombia (but seems tendency was Pro Oman)? Not sure I have time soon, so please start if any of you have time for it!

One Day Races? Often version from last year seems to work. Let me know if any of them need a new design, will try to help.

Theoretically I decided to start put up races about now.
In practice I feel the after effects of Raclette. Or maybe the beverages. And tired... so will start in around 24 hours...

Will put up the "needs to be designed" thing in the first post then too, too tired for that as well.
