Current C4F Features

Post by Alkworld » Wed Mar 09, 2022 8:37 am

Hi C4F Community,

while implementing missing features in Luques' C4F, we often come across missing details and things we just don't remember. We'll need your help in remembering those features and how they are implemented currently. Now you would think that we could just look into the existing code, which sometimes works fine, but it's often a little more complicated, as the logic is distributed widely and not always easy to understand. Additionally, we can't really look into the Flash code or the App. The next posts will already name some topics where support is needed.

For selling on the transfermarket, the team won't get the full value of the rider. What we currently know is the following:
price = market value minus tax minus malus for riders bought within the last 50 days

The old code mentions a young rider bonus. Is that something you remember?

When a rider (< 34 yo) is sold, it would go back to the transfermarket. What usually happens next? Auction for high divisions and normal sale for low divisions? Is the rider directly appearing on the transfermarket?

The bonus was reducing of tax by 15% points (max) for rider from 21 to 24. but only if the tax is high enough. If I remember correct you allways have at least 10% tax. But Buhmann take it out long ago. He dislike the hire and fire mentality. A lot of 24 years old are sold that days.

Yes^^
Not completly sure about the time the rider appears at low div. There was a timelack from 3 (?) to 5 days at the old days. Never checked it out after changing to the auctionsmodell at higher div.
There is a reason to get the rider later at lower div. At least you are not able to reset and buy your old rider at the same time.

Thx, at the moment it's important to implement the new C4F as close as possible to the other versions, so people don't switch to whichever is beneficial for them. So conclusion for me: no young rider sales bonus.

Depends where he's sold, he goes to the division market in which he's sold. So high divisions=auction model, and appears immediately.... I think.
Lower there was a lag as Manghi mentioned, but don't remember which...

Manghi correct on the first q., abolished a long time ago.

That's something we can do when the new versions is installed. There will be a test phase with a limited number of players anyway

In general yes, but it's just a rather low priority task, as
- only few teams active in lower division
- still waiting for Luques to help with deployment

I'll have a look on ongoing transfers, sooner or later there will be a real one.

Another feature from current C4F I don't know the exact details: Do you remember the limits for buying leaders in your team? E.g. you can't buy another climber (more than X climbing), if you already have N climbers. I neither remember what X nor N where. Same for other rider types like sprinters and TT riders. Anybody remembers?

It was 5 classics, 3 climber. But I´m not sure what conditions are necessery to call a rider as "classic" or "climber" for this.

climber is after 2 with more than 83. classics i doubt to have a limit at all, but it isnt after 5 for sure.
i expected the sprinters to have one too, but with 3 90+s there is no limit for me so i guess there is non?

But i asked Buh aswell, maybe he can help out^^

I can confirm the climbers limit, have now a 87 and 84 and cannot see any climber >83 in the "available" list.
Also doubt there is a classics limit but I never had more than 2-3 but probably my 69-80 guys don't count as well

There is a limit for pavé riders too I remember. But I don't remember the details.

My advise: Check it out in the old version. Create a test team and try it out. I think there is a message when you try to buy a rider too much in a specific category.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

Yep. I looked around in the technic section a bit, should be somewhere in the old threads, but couldn't find it. Maybe old forum?

There is a limit for mountain skill with youth riders too I think, But can't remember what it is.

The FL advice sounds best!

I implemented the limit for climbers. If anybody finds out about sprinters and pave riders, let me know, it's easy to implement.

Berg über 83: 2
Zeit über 69, berg über 77: 2
sprint über 91: 2
berg über 80: 5
Berg über 71 und Alter < 24: 2
Zeit über 60, Berg über 65 und Alter < 24: 2
sprint über 74 und Alter < 24: 2
Berg über 67 und Alter < 24: 5

Guter Hinweis, Schartner.

Also important:
Fahrer vom Jugendtransfermarkt unterliegen dieser Sperre nicht.
And it looks like there is no pavé limit, other than I thought.

I would check that last bit of information though. I seem to remember to have gotten that message once? Of course it could have been when I attempted to buy a 21 year old from the normal market through "all riders", but suspect it isn't, then I would go through "available riders". I could be mistaken of course, but think the limit applied to youth riders as well.

I am also pretty sure the limits are also for youth riders.
