New Sprint - not taking part in the sprint

Post by team fl » Thu Apr 25, 2013 4:12 pm

Romandie 14h

Stefano Benni in the front group, mitgehen bei "Alexis Chavez", sprint settings "from 50m".

BUT

He simply did not take part in the sprint! Although nobody started the sprint at 500m, even not until 200m before the finish line. everybody was just on "follow". Benni was not there at all... I could not do anything to bring him back to the screen... sprint now did not work, follow did not work. He has just missed the whole sprint. Cost him green and possible yellow and the stage win.

Even if you have to put "follow" as sprint setting or even if you don't follow anybody, it's highly unlogical that a rider is completely excluded out of a sprint when all the others do not start sprinting early at all.

Please check it and do something about it.

Like i already tried to make you understand in the race chat, take a look at the instructions and you will only see "follow" and "launch sprint". Nothing about setting a specific sprint already before it started, like you tried to do with your 50m...

Edit: And nobody has to "start the sprint at 500m", it just gets started there, even if nobody launchs the sprint there.

But the others did not sprint for a long time. Then why is my rider excluded from it completely? He should be at least besides the "train". He did not just stop riding at all.

And that's bullshit. That has to be changed.

And why the fuck is sprinting from 50m then available anyway if you don't take part in the sprint at all?

no, it is perfect against offliners who wont follow the sprint but set theirs before and will even have a chance to win..

thats why we have the live-sprint, so we can change setting during the sprint and not make them all before the sprint starts.

I want an official statement. You can write as much as you want, you don't know more than me about this system.

And how can I change settings if THE RIDER IS NOT THERE???

because we still have the old system for intermeds! you need them there but not in the final sprint, as it is written in the instruction..

You can write what you want, this is just fucking up the users and very very big bullshit.

It's highly stupid to keep the sprint settings for intermediates when there is only the final sprint left...

just think about it and you will get yourself the same answers i can give you with thinking about it and reading the instruction..

if you arent in the sprint you will never get in it, sounds logic, too?!

i can understand your anger because you lost a lot with not sprinting, but like i already said in my last post, think about it in a logic way and you will come to the same answers..

and to be honest i really like it that way.. why a live-sprint if you can make all your settings before?

If you already call these questions offensive... If you would have just kept your fingers away from the keyboard, there would be just the starting post. But you tell me many times the same shit I already know. It's not about believing you or not, it's just about leaving an angry person alone instead of trying to teach him lessons, which usually does not calm down anybody. That's what I meant with provokation. And for that there is really no need at the moment too.

Just don't understand clearly. FL Chose to sprint before or after last km?

Because i think that if you select sprint at 50 when the train are make i think is correct Benni not to sprint.

But you set it before the sprint starts, right?
