The pro 19 or 20 h thread

Apart from GTs, the last big race with a 19 or 20 h slot was in June, Tour de Suisse. Since then it got

Tour of Austria 19h: fine as there are not big races parallel to the Tour in July
Deutschland Tour 20h: this is one tour out of seven in August; parallel to BeNeLux
Giro d Abbruzzo 20h: nice race, but again parallel to a bigger race, Luxembourg
Tour de Langkawi 20h: nice that we have it (still think we should not have ridden it on wrong dates), but an unimportant tour
Tour of the Netherlands 20h: again, 20h gets the less important race

The treatment of 19 h is just criminal and I hope it gets better next year. 20 h gets all the lower cat tour.

Off season it seems less of an issue as we may have 5 edition for the tours if the participation does not drop too much in winter. But next year there should be a fairer distribution in the evening. All the times from 18 to 23 h are important. We usually have nice and big fields in the evening and neither 18 nor 22 h are good for managers who prefer to ride there.
