a QUICK youth watch
So, here my idea basically is to present some talented and interesting 21 year old riders and eventually update them through their career.
Each month I'll post a list of 7 riders. 5 of them from Division 1 teams, 2 from the other Divs.
Enrico Pucci - Stevens
56-72-75-50-61 with 47 reg. Not too much flat, which I don't like for classics but otherwise the perfect rider. Not expensive, no weakness. And with a name like that, big expectations to follow.
Luis Gama - Alkworld
52-74-70-49-61 47reg
Gama is an interesting rider. Max flat with a bit mountain and sprint. With proper flat training, I expect Alkworld to have an aggressive rider here.
Ferenc Krausz - AaD
73-56-71-54-49 62,6 pave and 53 reg
The young talent of the month probably. Would be so good as 84-65 with nearly 70 pave! Think about it. But I fear he goes the Volta way and gets more TT. After the career Volta had, I can see why.
Henok Mulubrhan - Rhodan Underdogs
49-74-76-53-64 52 reg
With the sprint-flat-downhill combo and a fair bit of a reg a guy who could ride dangerous attacks in the future. Mountain isn't bad either.
Anna Krywonos - Schappy
48-66-74-48-47 38reg
Cheap flat helper but really good guy. Weird first name for a male but it's 2023, get used to it people. Anna is probably never going to get paid a lot but might reach a respectable 80 or above flat. A rider most teams should buy sooner or later. Or like Schappy does, nearly exclusively
With the Div 1 picks covered, we're straight off to my favorite guy of the month:
Oskar Morgenstern - Radunion
52-74-73-49-66 44 reg
Pure perfection if you're looking for a lead out in a train or a 60-80 with 70+ sprint. Or as flat guy. Just great rider to have. Gg Radunion
And last but not least:
Yotam Ottolenghi - Gipfelstuermer
71-56-79-55-46 48 reg.
With Gipfel and AaD both being afternoon teams, Yotam vs Ferenc could be a big rivalry of 2024. Or he could train like Rubiano and only be an afterthought in every tour. The 2 missing mountain points do hurt a bit if he wants to be like the great Chantaca. Going for TT, he could win a lot but I'm not sure I see Gip doing that. We stay tuned.

With Yotam Ottolenghi, next year's Giro will again be a culinary highlight! Good guy
PS: Trakhtenbrot also started with 71 and reached the 87 earlier than Volta

Hm, is this already dead?
Re: a QUICK youth watch
I said it in the mainchat once.
We now have a Feature which tracks improvement, making this thread pretty much obsolete

Don't think it makes it obsolete.
Not everybody is following the same riders, so updates in the forum for the ones you chose would still make sense.
