c4f-Awards - Sprinter of the year 2020 nomination

Post by Weezel » Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:33 pm

Everybody can nominate one sprinter until 31th of december 23:59.
After this a little comitee will figure out the best five nominations (to avoid fun-nominations) and then we vote.

Arguments for your nomination would be great.

My vote goes for Joshua Jakobsen (Trekken Racing).
Impressive 29 wins in 76 races - he wins every 2,62 races he participates.

Hahaha, Idefix. Like the good old times where they searched for a Leupold or Huber. Now we can search for JJ type of rider :D

Anyway, I nominate Leander Hediger (Hansa). First rider to win Giro, TDF & Vuelta Points Classification! 13 race wins also not bad.

I nominate Valdis Slegelmilhs for this one. 31 wins, without doing a GT. Wevelgem, Milano-Torino. No one want to collaborate with him but he win that often, it is quite impressive

I nominate Rodrigo Ramos. Winner of Milano - San Remo + 2 TDF stages. Somehow a name that was very present to me even though I didn't race nearly never in the morning.
Rodrigo Tellez - Winner of Tour Down Under 2023!!!

Giorgio Tuttobene

2 Giro stages, some complete shit and Visp Lausanne in 2020. But would have won the maglia ciclamino without a bug in a hilly stage. He didn't get that, while he deserved it, so he deserves to be sprinter of the year.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
