c4f-Awards - Team of the year 2020 nomination

Post by Weezel » Thu Dec 24, 2020 1:33 pm

Everybody can nominate one team until 31th of december 23:59.
After this a little comitee will figure out the best five nominations (to avoid fun-nominations) and then we vote.

Arguments for your nomination would be great.

My nomination is Lorient:
Eight months number one in Division 1, the other four times on the second place - he performs on a constant high level.

T-Mobile nominate all the big favorites!

I nominate Alkworld. If you search for constantly high performance, it's him. They way he rode for Pelissier this year, excellent. Also it is impressive how he can deal with the funny morning group all the time :D I saw, TDF, it was ridiculous :D But Alkworld stays calm and patient.

free team: Yes a multi (he started the team while having another so it's completely accurate to still describe him as a multi!), with a whole lot of weird riding ideas (but unlike a lot of others generally he does not go into escapes as favorite or even co favorite, not even sure he knows where the attack button is, he just sits back and lets it be)
But 185 wins this year. (with free team, just to clarify :D ). 8 classics, one monument among them. Only possible challenger to Lorient. Over 100 wins a year sounds unachievable to somebody like me, free is close to 200... (ok, lots and lots of NCs there too, but still, even without over 150 (didn't check)
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!

***** Lorient
**** Free team
*** Trekken Racing
** Hansa
* Rasmussen

Lorient is clear. Free with a lot of wins. Trekken as the big sprinter team. Hansa because he did very good most of time. Rasmussen was all the time Div 1 I think and had good results although he did not have dominant riders I think.

Poke, so far the best manager here. Just no team this year, still great results.
