+ 40 Victories and 12 tours won by Paq,
Gasper only half of above.
Noah 34 wins and 9 tours.
Paq 3 rd alld time in the points classification..
But it does not matter anyway...

With Paq every lost Tour was a shame and you didnt even went for everthing with him so dont cry!
Both guys are within 4k eternal so thats no argument and La Doyenne + San Sebastian (Gasper) or Wallone + Plouay (Noah) can easily compete with Emilia, Milano-Torino and stuff like Suisse or Utah.

hi ,
Just wanted to mention 2-3 more criteria of evaluation if possible.
I did not need and expect to win any of these categories ... because I am not popular enough even if lets say Paq had in palmares Lombardia and one more classic.

Re: 2016 RSF Awards - Climber of the year
Klinkhammer winning is just weird though...And wrong.
Can understand Ortiz vs Katrasnik, but Klinkhammer?
He won the Tour, plus a shitload of stages there (which makes me suspect his group was as weak as the others). Tour de Suisse and PAis Vasco as other important stage races. 3 classics, Fleche Wallonne, Plouay and Emilia (actually Plouay is not a classic, just a high category race). Impressive? Yes. But compared to the 2 others, just can't compete.
Both Katrasnik and Ortiz won the triple. But SM getting second place in all 3 GTs really shows how weak his groups were. And Liquigas got that too, a second place in the Vuelta. Giro and Tour the awesome Donkey was there, so really strong groups clearly! Ok, the Tour was weak too. While I thought that the Giro was actually an ok group. Not that Ortiz was ever in danger, his skills too high for that. But doesn't matter that much, they did the triple. And with that are already far above anything Klinkhammer did.
Katrasnik then added LBL and San Sebastian.
Ortiz has Tirreno, Romandie and Tour de Suisse. Then the fantasy triple, January tour, Andes and December tour, yes it's fantasy, but it's still the 4th, 5th and 6th longest stages races at RSF. His weakness compared to the 2 others are classics. But he still got Milano Torino and Emilia, so is not a complete failure there either, actually many, including me, would happily take Milano Torino and Emilia as classic wins for the year.
For me its clearly Ortiz. Can understand somebody going for Katrasnik, triple, a monument, superb palmares. But Klinkhammer? People voting for him should certainly have their right to vote revoked. He's far far away from the 2 others.
