Training 20.4.2020:
Daniel Castillo Sprint: +1
Rafael RuizCabal Berg: +1
Alejandro Betancur Berg: +1
Martin Roux Flach: +1
Alberto Urrutia Flach: +1
Humberto Vega Berg: +1
Humberto Vega Flach: +1

2nd training in a row which I don't like much. Castillo takes Sprint again instead of Mountan. Useless somehow. He needs Mountain now.

Ruiz Cabal with the 3rd mountain training in a row is strong obviously but would have wished this had happened to Castillo or FloresNyuti instead. Still take it. Another 70-80ish rider is nice to have. Urrutia flawless until now. Hope to get him to 84 at least with 23. Then go for mountain.

Training 20.4.2020:
Tim Gajser Flach: +1
Arminas Jasikonis Flach: +1
Arminas Jasikonis Zeit: -1
Arminas Jasikonis Sprint: +1
Blake Gutzeit Flach: +1
Hamish MacDonald Berg: +1
Toby Price Sprint: +1
Steve Holcombe Berg: +1
Nice training. Only thing that sucks - Arminas had this training too late. 88 flat with 62 sprint and 84,1 pave - I would like to have a leader like that for next year again.

Hamish 84-61 now. I hope to have him at 85 for the Giro at least. that would be ok.

Training 27.4.2020:
Rafael RuizCabal Berg: +1
Felipe FloresNyuti Berg: +1
Alejandro Betancur Berg: +1
Martin Roux Flach: +1
Alberto Urrutia Flach: +1
Humberto Vega Berg: +1
Humberto Vega Flach: +1

Rafael 4 of 4 mountain with 24. Kind of happy now that I didn't sell him. Flores also with the mountain. So now at least I have 3 guys with 70+ mountain. The flat guys disappoint with 23. Diaz Romero just takes 1 of 4 and stays at 83, Roux takes 2 flat and is also at 83 now. Urrutia flawless. He will have to do better as the other guys in flat with 23. I hope for 3 so he gets to 85 before going for mountain.

Hiroya Matsuzaka Berg: -1
Hiroya Matsuzaka Flach: -1
Hiroya Matsuzaka Abfahrt: -1
Hiroya Matsuzaka Zeit: -1
Hiroya Matsuzaka Sprint: -1
Stephan Wiedmer Berg: -1
Stephan Wiedmer Abfahrt: -1

Happyton Kunonga Flach: -1
Habib Belhassen Sprint: -1
Gérard Lafargue Zeit: -1
Izatullah Totakhyl Berg: +1
Samuel Lanz Berg: +1
Samuel Lanz Flach: +1
This one is weird.
Matsukaze doesn't downtrain. At all. 37. Wiedmer Haqqi Kunonga 34-36 all do, normal.
The young guys. Habib down to 55 sprint now, so no need to think about protecting it anymore.
Lafargue loses time.
Totakhyl + again. That's the only good news here somehow, since Lanz had 100% anyway. Good training by Totakhyl, now at 70-72, started at 55-64

Training 27.4.2020:
Duncan Cleverley Sprint: -1
Isaiah Faingaanuku Flach: -1
Isaiah Faingaanuku Sprint: -1
Hunter Manu Berg: -1
Hunter Manu Abfahrt: -1
Alejandro Mansilla Abfahrt: -1
Freddy Garae Berg: +1
Vytautas Abromaitis Berg: +1
Romario Browne Berg: +1
Spencer Morris Flach: +1
Juris Rozitis Berg: +1
Juris Rozitis Flach: +1
Manu clearly wants to retire, third downtraining at the age of 34. Now an 85 climber. That's useless in my books, so he'll get what he want at the end of the month.
Other than that quite a good training. Zvirbulis doesn't become the TT-star I was hoping for, but Morris goes to 86 flat and Abromaitis now a true beast-classic at 75-83. Pundits say it's one day too late, but well, we can't have it all.
Brownie now at 82-70. So he is officially useless according to Mr. Donkey. But then I have a quiz question: how many donkeys had already won two classics by the age of 25 over the past 10 years?

Hint: the answer is shaped like an Easter-egg. :D

It's the manager, not the rider. Imagine what you would do with a proper rider, instead of some useless 82-70! He'd have 3 or 4 classics.

Max Funk Berg: -1
Max Funk Flach: -1
Ron Zwerver Abfahrt: -1
Ron Zwerver Sprint: -1
Eduardo Spohr Abfahrt: -1
Hieronymus Hilti Zeit: -1
Nicola Nicoli Abfahrt: -1
Oystein Eikeland Berg: +1

Worst training month since ages. Arthur skips his flat training twice with 22, the rest mainly downtrains. Even now that Karl is gone... It's time for the Giro, maybe that motivates the guys.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

Arminas Jasikonis Zeit: -1
Blake Gutzeit Flach: +1
Hamish MacDonald Flach: +1
Toby Price Sprint: +1
Steve Holcombe Berg: +1
Normal. Toby and Steve with high percentage trainings.

Blake good with flat. Hamish unimportant with flat.

For this generation its kind of over now and training doesnt really matter. So now let's see whats on the market and how those riders will develop.

With 28 years Markus Wildauer decided to develope to a 73-80 classic, very nice.
Our 21-year-old young guns took everything in this month, even Ben Kohl who is now an 60-78-50-51-61 (Reg 38) with the end of 21 years. Hopefully he become the next Super-Captain of T-Mobile-A 8-)

Felix Krankl Berg: +1
Gérard Lafargue Sprint: +1
Samuel Lanz Flach: +1
Baaba Faye Berg: +1
Baaba Faye Flach: +1
Matsuzaka the full program, 39 so ok.
Matsukaze keeps TT, not the one we think he should keep, but why not, 4 downtrainings is better than 5.
Wiedmer with 3, keeps flat and downhill, still won't ride the Giro.
Kunonga and Quttiboyev TT, don't care, excellent, nothing important lost.

Plus good this time
Belhassen 72 now, good
Krankl 63, now like Nägele 63-82-77.
Lafargue sprint, flat better but sprint nice too, now 70
Lanz flat, 100%, so logic, important will be from next month on.
Baaba Faye double 55-75 now. 100% mountain 93% flat and decreasing now.

more is not expected at this stage, so ok training

Yeah! Marcus Wildauer took the 13 % Chance and is now a 74/80-Classic.
Also Ben Kohl makes me happy with 62/80 and 22 years. Usually my classics never reach 80 flat :D

Arminas nice. TT just makes him more expensive :)

Hamish double flat/TT very nice, but I would have liked single mtn training more

Toby double very nice

Steve double excellent, second time in a row and with 69-77 now almost a real classic

Joel 2x 100%

Nice training in general

Lots of minus, Matsukaze with sprint this time, and more flat....
Kunonga 4, but keeps the sprint.
Armas only downhill, good.
+
Totakhyl mountain, so now 71-72
Swift 84 now, good
Faye the double, 54-76 now.

With Totakhyl and Swift happy.
Lanz had 100%, so logic

Baaba Faye Berg: +1
Baaba Faye Flach: +1
The usual down, nothing tragic. Kunonga only mountain this time, good. Triple Haqqi.

+ Lanz normal, still 100%
Faye good, taking the double.
And Larios with the flat doesn't hurt, hope he keeps it up until he reaches a decent level.

Mario Haas Zeit: -1
Nicolas Sanz Berg: -1
Nicolas Sanz Sprint: -1
Marco deLuca Zeit: +1
Felipe FloresNyuti Berg: +1
Ricardo DiazRomero Berg: +1

Don't know exactly what to think about the training. deLuca keeps being a training monster, now just with TT instead of mountain. Felipe now 72 mountain is very nice. Ricardo also strong.
But then missing are Betancur mountain & Urrutia flat which hurts.
Very short training.

Solid training. Rafael now 73 mountain which is very nice - still dislike his 78 flat though.
Betancur with 3 of 4 mountain with 24. Now 65 mountain. Won't help him though if I have to sell his only suitable helper after the Giro.
Urrutia will need more time & training to play a role for him.

+
Belhassen now 73-80, so that already makes it a good training.
Swift, flat, good, 85 now
Lanz 54-76 with his flat, from next month the serious things start.
Same for Baaba, good as a 21 year old, next month we'll see if he keeps doubling.

Habib Belhassen Berg: +1
Armand Brotcorne Berg: +1
Armand Brotcorne Zeit: -1
Gérard Lafargue Abfahrt: -1
Samuel Lanz Flach: +1
Baaba Faye Berg: +1
Matsukaze (39) Haqqi (37) Kunonga (36) with the 4 downtrainings, mostly doesn't matter anyway, Wiedmer (38) only 3, he clearly hopes to ride the TdS!
Quttiboyev at 35 good, keeps not losing flat.

+ Habib! Now 74-80!
Brotcorne mountain, 55-87, would have preferred flat. Downtrained TT
Lafargue not + but younger, so -1 downhill here, doesn't matter
Lanz 80% taken, good, now 77 flat and 77,6 pavé
Faye takes his 99% mountain, not the 48% flat, which I clearly hope for, now 59-78

JJ's win #57 yesterday at Dauphiné wasn't hard enough training it seems, so 4x downtraining, grrr. He should better stop those downtrainings if he wants to ride Le Tour with the team!

Gabriel (36) and Edvin (35) join the downtraining spree. Seems both want to get the spot in the team for a cheap, high-reg rider in future races.

But Bastien BOULANGER with TRIPLE TRAINING! At 21-yo he never did the triple training, at 25-yo he starts doing it. 65-66 with 76 sprint now! Seems helping JJ and starting the sprint for JJ is better training than being JJ! Bad luck, means he will stay a helper, so he gets better training!

Bartholomäus BRANDT also with a good start into the month. Future RVV winner if he continues like that.
