Team Presentation-Award?

Post by RSV Cottbus » Sun Dec 19, 2010 11:59 pm

Why is there no award for the team presentation? Many teams put many work into it properly and I think that could also pass as a award. (Sorry for bad english :P)

And an award for the best jersey, the most creative team-name, the best emblem, the best posting, the best topic, the best hair styling, the best interview (interviewer), the best interview (answers), the best greeting in the chat, the worst greeting in the chat, the best rider's name, the most impolite RSF-user, the best spectator, the most advertising advertisment spam account in the forum, the cutest team name, the best/worst insult, etc.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

the main problem is, that we have a voting system for the awards (it´s a sympathie-vote). an allagen award-system (very neutral) is much better. i nominate 3 teams/user/riders/etc. and these are the winners.

by the way, i like the idea of cottbus.

Well, i don't think that it's necessary to make so much awards, but if we categorize
the riders in classic, sprinter etc. and especially best rider of the year, then i think
we also should categorize the teams in classic, sprinter, pavé etc.
What do you think about that?
(and sorry for my bad english...)

Somehow I disklike the specializations of the teams. Of course there are some pure sprinter teams in several RL stage races, or pure gc teams or whatever. But they all ar not that specialized in general. They in deed have riders and aims for the other terrains at home or at other races. So it's more a typical RSF abnormity to concentrate on one kind of races alone. I wouldn't wish to support that way in terms of awards.
