Young Rider of the Year Award 2010

Post by Lizard » Wed Dec 01, 2010 6:55 pm

Young Rider of the Year Award 2010
Every year the Radsportfreaks-Community finds together to decide which are the best of the best in our virtual cycling world. This year again, we honor the riders that especially in their early years collected many victories. Which are the strongest young riders of the year 2010?

How to:
Each user may nominate 3 riders. The 10 being picked most are going to be implemented in the final voting.
Nominations: 01.12.2010-15.12.2010
Votings: 16.12.2010-30.12.2010
Formalities: Please only one post in this thread per user, if you would like to correct your nominations then use the EDIT-function. Apart from that please order your nominations from 1-3 and (if you'd like to) put a comment for why the rider deserves to win the award.
NOTICE: What only counts here is the victories/palmares achieved by the rider between 21-24 years of age.

Jamie Bearclaw

He started his career near the end of the season. So not many big races left for him, also because his predecessor Matthew Bearclaw was still active. But winning the Giro di Lombardia at an age of 24 was enough to lead him to immediate immortality. The overall success at the Tour du Jura the same month just confirmed his extraordinary talent.

Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!

I nominate Bernd Möhnetal, RV Allagen. won amstel gold race with 23 and place 8 with 22 at milan san remo. won 4 stages till 24 years.

@flocke: I get your point, but I think this time Allagen is right. Möhnetal was a very succesful youth rider in 2010. And please, to everybody: stop commenting the Allagen posts. You make me laugh again and again. Well, essentially that's a good thing, but my stomach begins to hurt.
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

well you may be right and allagen is right to nominate his own riders, but it will not help Möhne to get many votes when allagen does his self-manifestation in every topic here. Die Opferrolle steht ihm ja gut in letzter Zeit

Allagen's salvation is not of our concern I guess, nor if a nomintated rider gets a vote or two.
