Every year the Radsportfreaks-Community finds together to decide which are the best of the best in our virtual cycling world. This year again, we honor the strongest classic riders of the year, who was always involved when the prestigious one day races were fought. Which are the strongest classic race stars of the year 2010?

How to:
Each user may nominate 3 riders. The 10 being picked most are going to be implemented in the final voting.

Nobody else but Emanuele Terranova.

He is the most Italian rider I ever discovered in RSF. He historically managed to unite the national team around him for the worlds to lead him to the title. Also winning his national championship as well as stages plus points jersey in his home tour, the Giro d'Italia.

Stages at the Tour de France and the Campeonatp de los Andes just was a beautiful extra.

He was there whenever it got to a classic style race finish. He needed his team only to lead him into the final hills. And while other stars still need to have some helpers around them, Terranova found his way without the support of further team mates, following the right attacks. But not only sticking to wheels, also leading the front group, if needed all alone. Then easily outsprinting his rivals.

1 Jaco Ysaye - for sure one of the very best this year with 4 times cat 5 wins (one of them even the world championship), also races like Züri-Metzgete and others.
2 Thiago Branco - wins MSR, Romandie, Giro stage, many rather unimportant wins aswell. Nevertheless for only half a year very strong! Though Ysaye in the same time as a rather young rider already exploded, so Branco rank 2 here.
3 Emanuele Terranova - nominating own riders not cool, so Terranova slips in. And he was successul: stage wins and points classements en masse, summer world champ. But the problem just is: Everytime it went important, he failed. So only rank 3 here.

Mauro Monticulo - great Ronde van Vlaanderen win, that's enough to beat all the other riders that have been mentioned here.

it´s not easy. we have 3 good riders this year. Schlauberger, Ohnemut and Möhnetal. They won 28x Stages, 6x Tours , 2x young rider jerseys, 3x sprinterjerseys. 2 times german national champion, amstel gold race winner, 2. at lombardia, 8 at Milan San Remo, Mosel Cup Winner, Wallonie Tour Winner,.....


so the winner are Schlauberger, Möhnetal and Ohnemut together, no question.
