2026-03-27 Ondrej Zelinka Flat -1

Training session
Lynch takes TT up to 84, would prefer mountain to reach the psychological 70 barrier, but think that TT makes more sense, increases his stage win chance a lot.
Zelinka (26) exchanging a flat point with a sprint sklll. 66-68-78 with 76 sprint now
Gluck (24) climbing up to 70-75-76, really usefull helper for Lynch already, and also for the classics (mainly Hölzel). Starting with 54-69 for only 1.5 mio we really like this kind of helpers. Has potential to become the next Quickley.

Careers
By the end of age 32, it is time to take a look at the training performance of Wilhem Exner
Starting values: 48 (+2)-74(+11)-73(-2)-49-65(+1)
Peak values: 50-85-73-49-66

I think one could say it was a bad training. He really was meant as a strong flat rider with sprint, hoped for 87 flat at least, only covering sprint. But after reaching 85 at age 24, he stopped training completely, well he first downtrained on downhill. But no training since end of 25 (no up, no down), so he also enters the Club der Trainingsverweigerer. He still was and is a usefull rider, simply it doesn't really make sense to use him as a leader. I guess he will stay at our team some more month (usually saying so is a 100% chance he will be sold 1 week after).

Just realized he was only bought after the second training, so this makes it a bit more understandable. Still, with the given training scheme, he underperformed in training only being in the top 95% (based on 10,000 simulations)

Donkeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyy, you bloody idiot... What a moron.

Oh well, let's start with the oldies:
-5
-4
-4 for 37-39
That's ok, especially if Toulet keeps his sprint, even there he has 52% chance of downtraining.
Lüthi -2 good too, he's 36, wants to win Liège we heard, keeps mountain, good.
Onkelinx at 35 of course continues his downtraining, especially flat, seems he wants to end as low as possible.. not good, now 4 minus in 9 trainings there...
Kebede, only loses downhill, doesn't matter

So here good, no problem, Winzenried keeping his flat the most important, -12%, keep it in a week too! The rest did well too, well not Onkelinx, we'll take one heavy downtrainer if the rest stays.

+
Bongiorno, now 88 sprint, excellent
Gjeldnes flat, 79, excellent
Ole flat, ok, normal, 100%
Kemel.. Kemel? What did we write in our press center:

Training goal is 50 -87, no risk so not 96% flat, but 100, so not 100% mountain. Hope he gets to 50 nonetheless.
And he only trained mountain. Why? Because either we changed our mind, or more likely, since we would remember that, well, we hope we would remember that, after testing we forgot to change the training back to what we wanted. So 100-96% it was, and he missed the 96% flat. Dammit Donkey, starting to sabotage Roubaix 27 already, putting more pressure on Winzenried for Roubaix 26 as well. Ahh.. give away the easiest training. Now he has 72-100%. Thanks Donks, great job in training. Or might go and check if we have a flat or pavé trainer and fire him, good plan.

The rest of the youngish ones, well, nobody over 24 trained, we like to have at least one, so not ideal, ideally would have been Kotibaruly... or Lafuente. Aurélien. But ok, Bongiorno at 24 is very nice too, so could live with that actually, but Kemel... what an idiocy.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!
Got a carrot from FL. But they threaten to take it away now.

Not much to complain about. Downtraining surprisingly short, which is very good. Don't like how a few guys just don't stop losing downhill, maybe I should start covering it more again.
Palamarchuk just loves to train mountain. Now his helpers even struggle to keep up with that. Girdvainis flat is great, still only 1 miss for him.
Alborghetti starts this very important training month well too. Hoping to get a lucky 4/4 this month to be decent for the Giro. Aelenei also with a lucky double training to make up for his lack of flat. Unfortunately no such luck for Tikhomirov, who definitely needs a bit more flat too. Finally the expected double for Potrenaud.
Some more lucky trainings for the 25+ year old riders would have been nice, but overall it is decent.

Not satisfied with this one.

Maka -2, at least not flat which is his only and main skill. One more until PR, where he can still be a good helper. Then no goals left for him
Exner with under-average training till 32, already starts downtraining sprint at first chance, bad
TimeTrial downtrainings are generally good to save salary, but for Ligeti it doesn't really matter
Qualtinger downtraining downhill, don't care. But him taking a flat or a mountain would be great
Wotruba +1 flat is the only nice surprise, 50-68 92 sprint now. Unfortunately, he is not used very much and April doesn't look like sprint festival as well.
Preradovic, don't care about downhill, but FLAT would be great. Only one chance left before PN, 56-82 80.5 pave doesn't look too great at 26.
Missing: Stowasser 24, still 84 flat, come on, we desperately need a good self grown flat rider
Serhii, no surprise 100% for both skills

Long list, more uptraining than downtraining. Panicked when I saw all the minusses for a second, but honestly none of them really hurt. Redrocks sprint, but doing great downtraining wise at 34 now. No MO or FL lost yet. Henkey MO good on his way to becoming a cheap. Kawzyk downhill the only other one that hurts just a little, but will 100% take this downtraining list for the whole month.

As for uptraining, Diego confirms himself as the best training rider since our first generation. Still just average training, which says a lot, but we're happy with average training at this point... Parri flat, yay. Walker double, nice, looking forward to the cheaps training like monsters already. Didn't know he was on MO still, back to something else. Rory double 100%

Overall decent training. Would sign for this to be every training this month.

From the number of trainings, it is fine, but I would have preferred it for other riders. Mario is missing 73 %, Yash 41 %. Kaljo is still perfect, is beautiful, of course, the downhill for Knut is nice, but not really needed. Juha taking flat again is very nice, now he just needs fast races. Downtraining is short as we have fewer old riders. Norbert is still very lucky with flat, but this time it hit him.
