Hello, I wanted to ask why the Hungarian nationality was resolved in my corridor Simon Pelikan.
Simon is a Hungarian name -> https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simone
and Pelikan is a surname of Hungarian cyclist -> http://www.sitodelciclismo.net/coureurf ... urid=79831

if I can get the flag back I would be happy.
thanks
Thanks a lot for the info, it takes the usual three days.

Hello,

Team Acheron - Victor Cojokaru - Moldavia.

I took this name from the Nationall Footballteam of Moldavia (mixed).

You can find thiis name also as bulgarian (whats the same in google). He really would like to see his Flag back again.

He thinks no one is more moldavian than him self.

Thank you.

It is Cojacuru, not Cojakuru. Hence, the rider had been deemed as a clone accirding to the NC Guidelines.

Please give the French nationality to Simon Gugliemi. Both first and last name exist in France.
Thank you :)

According to §2(1) of the NC-Guideliens, that you accepted when naming the rider, this is a clone:
§ 2:
(1) It’s not allowed to alter names of real existing celebrities (sports, politics, music, films, etc.) either by adding, deleting or changing letters (f.e.. Lance Armstronger, Alejand Valverde, Andy Shlek, Alberto Kontador).
As this is a cycling game (for freaks), altering the name of an existing cyclist (currently riding the Giro d'Italia...) by deleting a letter (the second "L" in the family name), let to this this decision.

Write a PM to either Luques, lesossis or Hunsrueck. They are the only ones able to do that.

I have got a question about "clones" now ...

Just thought about some idea for my next generation as i am playing PCM pretty much now (yes shame on me!)

Would it be a clone to have a rider that sounds very similar to an existing rider but with an also existing name?

To have some examples that came to my mind shortly (not that i would use them but just to have a clearance if i once really decide to):
Emanuel Bachmann
Erik Zobel
Jan Ullreich
Marcel Wüstner
Olaf Ludewig
and so on ...

De-swiss Hansa!!!

Staldenried? Some village somewhere I guess, pretty sure not a name. Ok, he told me he looked somewhere and mistook most usual name and most usual village-name (although don't think that Staldenried is that popular a villagename, but won't check) Anyway, can happen, no need to be holier than the Donkey....

But now Langeleben again... last time I told him that sounded really unswiss, he told me it was the name of a german village. Which is not the same as a swiss family name. Ok, let's drop hit, But now AGAIN. Despite knowing it's as unswiss is Humuhumunukunukuapuaa is un-german as a name.

Ok, friendly advice to try real or realistic names doesn't work, take the damn nationality.

All the Jochen Metzings or Marius Rinner sound all more german than swiss too of course, but those at least seem possible, some misguided mother that calls her son a German name like Jochen. Metzing really sound german too, like Rinner, but immigration, no problem.

But Staldenried and Langeleben? Is Langeleben even a name in Germany? And as I said, if it's once, ok, let it pass, but here with Langeleben re-using a name he has been made aware is unswiss... possibly not even German, come on, make that guy German if it sounds somewhat realistic, even if it's not real, but in Swi it doesn't sound realistic.

Yes Staldenried is a swiss village - its the middle station of the famous ropeway Stalden - Staldenried - Gspon that was built in 2018 by famous austrian ropeway builder Steurer so Yes Staldenried is great! (okay maybe if i took part in that project) :D

After that spam post - Something in advance:

There will be a new youth rider joining my team called "Yassir Kreuzer" - Yes that guy doesnt seem to be really austrian but i can confirm he exists as i know him personally.

After he flew from Pakistan he decided to take the surname of his german wife and he might even be pretty well known in a austrian city i wont mention to not go too much into personal things.

Best regards

Rider called Siirii Sakkir for Estonia.
Guessing firstname is what got it blocked. I meant to put Siiri but added an extra i at the end by accident.
But regardless, Siirii is an Estonian first name.
But good science stories market themselves. And do not hesitate to learn; Siirii Lelumees—Editor in Chief for health magazine Kodutohter from Estonia— says science journalists should utilize every available education opportunities once they come their way.
Is that enough?

Regarding naming rules, this should be no problem at all, but I don't think anybody is able to to anything technically about it at the moment... So Notschrei will stay greek for the moment. Could be worse, German for example ;).

For the admins: Maybe "Yugoslavia" is not the most accurate nationality to chose anymore... :)

Other nationalities could be added like Eritrea or Albania!

Thanks to Alk and the new update we will have a Nations Committee (whoop whoop :!: )
I want to apply to be a part of it. Names like Nor Mal, Temp Omacher, names with small instead of capital letters etc. really destroy the game vibe for me. So I want to help preventing that :-)
