Ok, to the other awards this year too... 2009 Allagen did, he forgot to put a limit to the votes so we still could vote for Reynolds vs Leupold if the forum hadn't crashed... 2011 Lizard, he seems gone. So ok ok, I'll just do it:

Rules. From Dec. first to Dec 15th nominate teams. Max. 3 nominations per person. No need to make an order. No need to nominate teams already nominated by others. Around Dec. 15th Roko Keko will put all the nominated teams in a vote. If there are more nominated teams than there is places in the vote, the ape will simply decide himself which 15? 20? teams get a place in the vote. Ah, he'll draft FL and NoPik to help him in the decision. but unlikely it happens. If it happens, the reasons given for the nomination will be taken into account.

He didn't, he didn't! not in a row. But he won 5.

Team FL: Developed into the best pavé manager according to me: Stage successes at Sachens Pavé, winning Paris Roubaix, Het VolkTro Bon Leon, and always a danger in all pavé races. But of course not only that this year: 30 wins. 6 classics: Paris Roubaix, Flèche Wallone, Gent Wevelgem, Het Volk, Tre Valli and Piemonte. 5 GT stage wins, 3 Giro, 2 Tour. Not only winning with one rider type, but sprinter, climber, pavé rider and classic rider. Won races with 10 different riders

Ariostea: Only 2 monuments.. RVV and PR. Other classics: AGR, Milano Torino, Piemonte, Züri Metzgete. Then 4 PN stages with points jersey, 4 Giro stages with points jersey. 37 wins in 11 so far, but as usual not riding 300+ races like many addicts do (and a non addict like Petit Singe too)

Will add a third nomination here later... at least 2 candidates that deserve a mention IMO.

Team Lulu : the one who won 3 classics cat. 6 this year
Team GasGas : 35 stagewins this years without a strong sprinter or a strong climber, Whity was used at the perfection with a good team behind him

Just because of the incredible numbers in 2011, one of the best stage race teams around:

14 stage races, including Tdf and Vuelta, Catalunya, TdS, T-A
71 race wins, including RVV and lots of stage wins in the above mentioned tours
12 points classements, 10 team classements 6 mountain classements, 3 youth classements,
don't know exactly how many Div. 1 wins, but more than 1 for sure...

Third nomination: (hope I didn't write a "have to edit rule here")

francais: 37 wins, 10 GT stage wins plus Amstel as cat 5 wins. 4 stage races, Giro, Andes and 2 lesser ones. 2nd place in Tour, Andes, TdS. His speciality the mountain jerseys, "only" 8 this year, Giro, TdS, Tour, Vuelta with the same rider, Mugabe. Anyway, a stage race specialist, the classic palmares is missing a bit, but still Amstel won.

I don't think we can vote for him, but JPS Classics was really impressive from January to May, before he retires.
lots of victory/podium in classic/monument (MSR, LBL, Flèche, Amstel, Flandres, Wevelgen) or great races like Brabant, Paris-Camembert, Monte Paschi or Nokere...
some stages in small tours too (de Panne, TDU, Pais Vasco, Paris-Nice).
2 stages in Giro.
and many jerseys or team classification.

unfortunately for him, only 5 months...
