National & world champions jerseys

Post by Luna » Thu Jun 24, 2010 6:00 pm

1) The winner of the U23 world championships should not wear a jersey in pro races. It's nice to win that title, but it's not big enough to constantly carry the rainbow in the professional peloton and occasionally confuse with the pro world champion.

2) The winner of the time trial championships (worlds as well as nationals, in case they ever get introduced) should only wear their champions jerseys when they compete in a time trial. That's how we all know it from cycling in RL. Why not here?

I think that it's funny to add the national jersey in the race, for the sprint.

Very cool! ;)

But the time trial rainbow jersey would never be worn in a sprint..

( i hope there would be no problem with copyrights.. )

Do you have the images of these jerseys on your PC? (Not the screenshots you show us here) If yes, i could integrate all these jerseys into the game.

The black-red-yellow is still too thick. 1/3 or 2/3 of that would fit. But it's clearly nearer to the original. I could well live with it as it is now.

These are screenshots, which you sent me :( I would nee the jerseys without this background. The normal image...
Like this: http://www.radsportfreaks.com/radsport/ ... ikot_1.gif
The real image, not a own made version. 1. There is a background, 2. the quality is not so good.
Sorry

Maybe the quality is good enough and we can cut the jersey out of the complete image. But this is not easy every time.

The WC jerseys should be visible now. And i think i will show the national jersey which you made, too. Not necessary to wait until we have all.

Can you please abolish all national champions jerseys? The one you wear, and the one that appears next to the name.

It's not about the jerseys. It's about the money. That's the signal Buhmann is sending us by giving money for the top 3 of every national championship. We even have people in the chat giving an amount of money as goal for tomorrow (next national championships) So they got Buh's message. Some idiots on the other hand haven't. And might protest if tomorrow the intelligent ones ride for place 2+3. Idiotic talk about "wins" and jerseys. Which, as Buh will confirm is NOT the goal tomorrow. The goal clearly is to ride for money. Good. But now abolish the jersey that distract some here from the money riding.

That would be -1. I want that everybody understands that Buh wants the NC to be only about the money. Those jerseys send the wrong signal.
