TTT again....

ok,we got some tours coming up with TTTs and we have the same situation as always...teams,that you never had heared of before,but that start with 4 riders with 81timetrial and one with 79,like "familie graessle" right now at the 18:00 canary island tour...all bought in the last days,all with the oh-so-funny last name "zeit"...

old problem,i know...but why not make a limit for the number off top time-trialists that you can have in one team?

when i am not wrong,we do have such a limit for mountain-riders,why don't have the same limit for time trial riders?

edit sagr mir gerade,bis auf einen hat er die am 1. dezember gekuaft(den einen am 29.12.),ändert aber nicht viel,zumal er sonst nix im team hat ausser einen para-sprinter ohne flachis8ok,ein 80er ist dabei)

We have a limit. But it's obviously too mild. I guess it's something about not more than 3 triders with 80+ or so. Maybe that (multi?) team bought them long ago, let them train and waited for a ttt.
Maybe such a pure limit doesn't take the desired effect anyway. Perhaps we could introduce a minimum div for bying tt riders.

ok, ich schreibe auf deutsch weil mir einfach ist:
TTT werden immer wichtiger...immer mehr Tour setzen eine in Kalender, diese jahr ist bei alle 3 GT eine geplant, Bei Tirreno-adriatico auch zum erstes mal, etc.
Und Wir???
wir mussen jetzt letzendlich was machen, um die ergebnisse in GK nicht zu fälschen...
In div. 5 bleibt dabei das jedes kann beliebig Resetten...
Bitte Buh, tu es was, sonst bei kleine tour wie Tirreno, z.b., wird in höhere division zu sein nicht ein belohnung, sonder ein bestrafung.
es muss gehandelt werden, und schnell!

We need a little change.In real TTT yesterday, only Liquigas got a +2 minutes time distance to the winners, due a big Crash!!!

I think that the energie expense must be new valuated;
more riders are in group, the team are Fast, and the energie expense are reduced !
i think also that Time harmony Value still be a good Idea viewtopic.php?f=3&t=523 , that must be not forget, in moment are ever more Tour that included a TTT in the calender!

I think the problem isn't the ideas they are all cool but buh haven't time for do all so TTT are a little part of the game (ok a little part where you lose 1 minute or 2 if you suck like me) but there are some big part to do like the new website bug correction so i think for this moment we can't have revolutions

But we cannot force the teams to send reasonable teams to the ttt. It's a matter of the riders that take part in a race, I guess.

I think only that the TTT system are a bit not good balanced...
if I still only with 5 riders for 20 km. my riders must working much more at a 9 riders team.

Normally, respect to the energie, i have a advantage if my team still be complete.
My proposal are that:
if my team lost 4 riders at first km. , my team will be weak km. after km.,comparated to a 9 riders team.
my advantage are that i can be faster at the first km. but, my speed decrease with increasing fatigue.
if i ride several km. with 9 riders i'm slow at the start, but km. after km. my team will be faster, while the energie get saved...
after 7-8 km. i can lose 1 or 2 riders, or more, but i have more energie, comparated to a team that ride the whole race with only 5 riders.


the TTT race are much technic, and not only a sum of the 5 best riders, indeed, will be win the best manager and strategist.
