"Div 6" only races

Post by Yamaka Corse » Thu Jul 16, 2026 2:18 pm

Hello everybody, I think we should discuss about this topic, since this game is very old there are some players that come back after a long stop, this players are considered Div6 and I belive there is nothing wrong about that. Marketplace, autoteam generator, is all good for a well balanced game and I think is a nice "shield" on some abuse we had in the early years '10.

But there is something that you can't compare and is the experience. A player with 1000+ race knows the game better than a player with 50 races.
That's why we need to discuss on the parameter "div 6 only"

Are we assuming that a player with 2500 race have the same odd to win a div 6 race as a player of 80 races have? I think it is unbeliveable.

So the idea is to allow player of other divisions too UNTILL they have an X number of stages. For example:

Div 3 Flandrien should be allowed to play this kind of stages 87 races rn div 3. We are punishing him for the discover of the game 2 months before the Giro?

If we think a div 3 is too muchì we should consider at least a div 4 or 5 inclusion for players with less than X races not because of that they are stronger than a player with 2500 races in a 6 days tour

Now we have to think 2 things, X = 100? or X = 150?
And
It possible to implement this in code?

On April 14, we saw a huge influx of teams thanks to Falcor’s TikTok video. From then until somewhere in May, we had split races across the board, resulting in a large number of Div6 races. This allowed Flandrien to build up a track record right from the very first races. Let’s save the admins some work and stick to Div6 races only. That’s my opinion.
