First stage, very interesting, a little testing from the opponent, which might be my team. The favourites though in person of OLcycle managed the stage. So, first up:

I'm sorry if I make you nervous, I have seen the other teams online, they are in wheels, but don't ride (RC Wheel Fast, and I forgot the other possible follower). I can only ride like I would against any other, can't expect those to not take part at all except staying in a wheel. If they don't ride with you, I can't change it. OL won't ride in that situation anyways. And that's the problem of today's stage. Group was in a very good position to catch the duo, but no activity. If everyone rides, I join in very late maybe to close the gap a little. But can't do that alone today.

From my point of view, bad stage, lost much time to Cieza and Jan. Victor desastrous, wrong wheel, kabouch!, gone. Over a minute already. I need to look for what to do the coming days. Dreizehn might be able to battle OL tomorrow, he for sure killed quite a little. Maybe Lizard-action, maybe not. Not sure now. Will be good! Looking forward to it, so see ya tomorrow.

If if if ... no solution with if !
you wait the others to ride and the wait you to ride so ... like OL said sometimes you have to take your responsibilities !
Only 32sec behind the duo because of 1km waiting Aix, 1km no riding and 1 km of stupid attack beacause nobody ride !

OLcycle: it's unbelievable that elaska have to do all the job !

I was nervous because you and RC fast did not give any help and you was favo for GK pidum and you for the white too, OL is favo too but he was in front ... !!

I'm was in a sticky situation. At Dick's wheel there is Lafleche. If I do the wrong, he'll pass me in the GC. In front also OL, so what to do? Leave it to the stage favourites... anyways, tomorrow is going to be different. And you can't force me to take any responsibility for somewhat, you can hope that I do. If you just didn't cry for what you want others to do all the time you'd be quite cool to have a race with. But you just can't stop it. Then I rather don't talk in the chat.

That was an interesting race !
I didn't want to do all the job alone during 200kms, I did it during 70kms to isolate Vermaart, it was useful ! But as you said, my team is dead, so tomorrow, I'll need some help, because I can't use a lot of energy like today. Anyway tomorrow I'm note "big favo", that's the 71sprint ! ;)
Sorry Lizard if sometimes I was a bot agresiv in the chatbox, but that's normal, you're always searching to disturb the groups that you've not interests in, I can understand that, I did it sometimes, "that's the game" ... but when I saw that about a group where I'm in, I'm angry !!! :twisted: And you can understand me, ;) , so, nothing against you, just against the tactic blabla in the chat that I dislike :lol:

Wizards , in my opinion , did a great stage .. I wonder who will stop him today . His only problem is that he has only Dick well in the Gk , so no so many possibilities . But he really did a great stage .

Stay Roby, I can make some tea. :mrgreen:

There is always some disturbing yes, but I didn't think I made much complications. I mentioned Dreizehn, OL and Briten should chase and that I don't ride because of my stage win probability, which was quite little. As long as there is no insulting or something, I'm okay anyways. ; )

Thanks Aix, I think I could've done a little better maybe. Should've tried to work for Clausen I see afterwards, but finishing off a little the big ones for the tour could be an advantage. But I can not start Harakiri today, the tour has some days left. Have to figure out something. And today's favourite I also think is BrauereiWolters, Emile Daems is a strong one for today. Only problem: He has not the team.

I'm convinced that it's not hard enough for classic riders, the big flatties will come back! But maybe I'm completely wrong :D

EDIT: oh I'm looking at the wrong stage anyway :? For tomorrow I agree.

Reactions very interesting today :
Wizards Cycling: Shouldnt have sprinted
Indication ? or a wrong one ? Really think he can be under the reg , and a lot under it . He can suffer tomorrow and lose the seconds he has won today .
And I wonder how OL will block everybody in the next days .

For Aixteam , 3rd yesterday , 2nd today .. I hope for something better tomorrow :D

Shouldn't have sprinted from 500m was my first thought... then I don't pull the sprint for Elaska and also end up 3rd probably. Then I see the result and think why did I try, no chance whatsoever. If Dick is under 1000? Who knows. OL can try to get rid of him. :mrgreen:

Today's stage! Great! Great! Great! I was very close to fullfill my evil plan *muahahaha* but made a little but bad mistake. Here is JPS' comment about it:
JPS Classics: falsch kandoo ... war schwer ... eigentlich gewinnen das Claussen, Lafleche, Tissot oder Randolph .... hab nur 51 sprint ... ich bin wohl nur der einzige der den klassiker als leader heute hatte ;)
No no no, Clausen my leader today. Dick making tempo, that menas Clausen for stage. Yes, yes. I knew it would make a 70-80 today, wanted Clausen to get this. Was a little sceptical when I saw what happened in the races before. Rather no 74 pavés in the final score. But nevermind, thought Clausen will do it.
Race was hard, had to sacrifice Peppermayer, but was the only thing to do. When it became serious after Horacio and André were doing the work good sieb by OLcycle against me, Victor fighting was stupid, shouldn't have done this. But Dick nevermind wasn't. Clausen neither. Many in front must've suffered the sieb, and I was rather sure that I can come back to Cieza's attack. What OL should've probably done was riding with Cieza for Lafleche and then attack with him at the second 4%. He easily wins by plenty seconds probably and is 1st in GC. Cieza maybe still in. Didn't happen and I could close the gap. Brilliant was the Cieza-attack, costed lots of power, in the end sprint aswell from 50m. He will suffer tomorrow, for sure. Vermaart also with attack and sprint. He has even less Reg, probably a bad decision. Tomorrow Lafleche though still in, he will start with 1000 energy. He might be the one to beat. 5**** and 6***** perhaps are the spots to take us. And if it doesn't work, Cieza can do it aswell. But then, Vermaart might take his victory. Sooooo interesting! And what if a totally different rider makes it?
Oh, and yes, wasn't sure if Clausen can follow Dulac, but was sure can handle it some way. Did the worst, should've made tempo at the 4% and just stay in the wheel. Clausen wins, I'm happy. No, just forgot how easy it is to follow at 4%. Hinz and Kunz can follow there. Bah, bad finale, but I was close and the plan worked out after all. Tomorrow next try, already planning the big one!

I'm really disapointed, I realised only after the attack that I had to do tempo with cieza for Lafleche, I really didn't expect the high importance of those 2x4% !
Clausen killed my good attack.
And for your information, not sure that Cieza will suffer a lot before the 6% tomorrow ;)
But Tomorrow I don't know I can beat Vermaart, strongest in Hill and pavé, impossible to coming back on him after the last 6*****
I've no idea ... maybe just try to keep place2 gk before the last day. Don't know yet, we'll see.
One thin is sure, tomorrow the work is not for me (a bit of course), but not the biggest part of the work like the last 3days :lol:

After all: Let's do a favourite's check list! This tour is so interesting and really amusing in terms of competition, so let's check out who can win:

General classement:
***** Cieza deLeon, Jan Vermaart
*** Dick Eickendreyer, Yann Laflèche
* Norbert Müller, Yassine Bounit

I think there a no other competitants left for the general classement. Vermaart would get ***** alone just because of the rider skills, but it showed that Dreizehn is very unexperienced on pavés and also the 1st stages' sprint of deLeon vs. Vermaart prooved that Dreizehn still has tactical disadvantages. Since OLmania also has Laflèche as very strong helper for the coming stage(s), I think they are on the same level. Even though Jan could've used plenty chances by now, I think Cieza will lose the jersey today and get it back tomorrow. Maybe he can even hold the jersey today. Eickendreyer has a good team, he has for today Clausen and Overbos and for tomorrow Overbos and of course Katchono. Let's see if I can do something about it. Müller for sure an outsider, but he is still in the classement and already got a stage. Maybe RC Wheel Fast tries something, but Müller is just one of the many outsiders for the jersey who could be mentioned. Though it will be up to OL and Dreizehn for sure to work together. Neither me nor Elaska are the teams that should support them to get a little chance. Elaska might even drop a bomb today if he has a good plan for attacks, he has the flat team to try, so I also put Bounit on the list. Nevertheless, if the race is slightly predictable I guess it is between Cieza and Jan, as expected.

Points' classement:
***** Jan Vermaart
*** Cieza deLeon, Norbert Müller
* Dick Eickendreyer, Boris Kilkov

I am pretty sure that Vermaart can take this jersey. Though this one might be decided by a breakaway in the finale. Riders like Müller or Eickendreyer showed they can get rid of the others at the right spot, they just have to do it again. But apparently twice, since the last stage will leave many chances for the stronger sprinters.

Young riders' classement:
***** Dick Eickendreyer
*** Yassine Bounit
* Boris Kilkov, Victor Overbos

Sure thing I guess. Dick won't lose time today to Bounit I think, rather vice-versa. Tomorrow could change everything, but I think Dick will take it.

Team classement:
***** JPS Classics
*** Elaska
* Rest no chances

He gets served the stage and classement for free, a little pity that our peloton let's him all these palmares. But only Elaska might take it from now on.
