Vuelta 2022 - 22:00

One week until the Vuelta and we are again the last time to open a thread for the Grand Tour.
The Galacticos will surely start and try to win lots of stages and maybe even GC or one of the other jerseys.
Lineup not quite finished yet but not much surprises to be expected:
#1 Alejandro Otxoa - leader, stage hunter and looking for the 3rd P2 in a GT this year
#2 Gonzalo Arteaga - stage hunter and finally a real 80-70 climber as of today
#3 Matteo Collini - lonely classic, doesnt like training
#4 Alberto Garrotini - likes training, following the steps of the many 60-80 Galacticos star domestiques (Braaten, Mitchell, Urrutia, Castello Ruiz)
#5 Luiz Coral - as leader for escape groups he is already learning every rider's name of teams Rhodan Underdogs & Rsc Spree
Haven't decided on the other 4 spots which will depend also on the opponents here.
Might even bring Larrain as sprinter if Coesitz will join again but rather unlikely for now.
Mostly likely starters are however:
#6 Rodrigo Tellez - 2023 classic
#7 John MacKenzie - keeps repeating the name Panke since we told him he might have a chance to escape a lot in this tour
#8 Patrick Biehler - sprint leader?
#9 Pablo Fierro - somebody with reg in case we have to actually ride for GC or stage win
