Giro 2014 10h

Post by sylvainmeteo » Wed Apr 30, 2014 11:32 pm

Hello!

SM Team will do his first Giro this year, as far as my schoolyear is almost finished for once :)

I would like to go for stages, and try to fight for the win !

Lineup should be like this :

Kovago, for the GC
Kurzejewski, the support for Kovago
Ongais, our classic star
Razek, our other classic star
Zsombok, helper
Kovaloczy, helper
Fabisovsky, helper
Kwaniewski, TTT locomotive
Kommusaar, the sprinter

Don't know the salary, probably around 550k

EDIT : 561k
Team : SM Team
Victoires d'étape : 374 ; dont les 5 monuments et les 3 GTs !
Hall of Fame : Katrasnik: 26724 pts

Hello!

I will also start here. Lineup not yet decided, but Leitner should be there.
And I will need a sitter already for the stage on sunday :)

around 10 teams at the moment, and lot of big sprinters

So the place of Fabisovsky still not sure... can be replaced by Vakoc...

Leitner not so strong and oooold (most likely with downtraining this month), therefore Kommusaar with very good chances for green too ;)
And annoying train by Dreizehn, I don't know who will profit most of it.

So after the first two sprint stages Leitner and Sicharulidse with a win each. Tomorrow rest day (and more important training-day)...

Bravo Leitner! Down to 94. Now what @SM? Still not interested in sprints anymore?

If Dreizehn comes back it will be almost impossible to win from your wheels because the pace will be too high to overtake... I missed my chances, especially stage 2...

So after the 3rd sprintstage Leitner still in green, yeah, but will be very difficult to defend it till the end. Dreizehn with his very strong train got a nice win, altough it was pretty close in the end, with Kommusaar getting the best finish.
Today the first "interesting" stage, and already a big group has escaped. Interesting to see how Demuth and Haudegen plan to ride this stage.

Mostly your gutless, classless and clueless actually.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!

Stage 6 : Daniels won at Montecassino where I gain 20 sec on Beckett and 36 on Chapéau after loosing 21 sec at the stage before
Stage 7 : Beckett won, but Kovago 2nd and Ongais 3rd, sprinters group lead by CircleCycle finished just 10 sec behind.
Stage 8 : Another Beckett win, Kovago lost some seconds here, Cabanas is also strong, and Demuth still can do 1 and 2
Stage 9 : first Kovago victory, and all others climbers a 4/5 sec behind Shona loses much more, and Kovago takes the green jersey today.

Rest day tomorrow, then 1 weak with flat stages, lot of moutains and 1 TT

Lot of things happened there since the 1st rest day :

Stage 10 : Kommusaar won the stage after a very strange sprint, and takes green from his teammate Kovago
Stage 11 : Escape won, but Kovago, Shona, Martin and Cabanas takes 52 sec over the others climbers, Kovago is closing the 2 Demuth guys for GC
Stage 12 : TT, won by Kubica, Chapéau takes 1 min 20 on Kovago, and Kovago takes 1 min 10 on Cabanas, Also good TT from Beckett
Stage 13 : Flat stage, but sieb close to the end, I siebed, and rode against sprinters due to Markko who is unfit, and Kovago takes 8th place and takes green again
Stage 14 : Another escape win, very few gaps between GC leaders (only 10 sec)
Stage 15 : The key stage is probably here, Demuth offline, so I stopped the escape, and rode very hard with my flat riders and the Madrid's ones to weaken the climbers with low flat, then Kovago attacked in a 5% in the hill and got much time (30 sec on Martin, the rest is 1 min behind, Demuth climbers are 1 min 30 behind)
Stage 16 : Defense mode activated, even if Stalandske still in yellow, only 6 sec (10 with bonis) on Chapéau, and 19 (29 with bonis), on Cabanas who is going to be more and more dangerous
Stage 17 : Flat stage, with with a 11% in it, the escape won, but behind, Kovago with the help of Zsombok takes 16 sec on Demuth climbers, Beckett able to follow this attack too
Stage 18 : Beckett won it easily, Cabanas dropped, and only 7 sec lost on Chapéau with bonis included...

Stage 19 : climb TT, the most important stage for me, yellow fight will continue there and also at Zoncolan
