Luxembourg 10h

Post by team fl » Tue May 29, 2012 8:04 pm

Three nice tours besides the Giro ridden so far in May: Dunkerque, California and Bavaria. Every tour was a success in its own way for Team FL. So we hope that Luxembourg will be good to us as well. But even if not, at least Pit will be happy. The other riders next to him will be:

x1 Nathaniel Biedermann, the quiet leader from Schellenberg
x2 Toni Hassler, the angry leader from Schellenberg
x3 Niels Hörnö, is happy that Ollé Ollé will join this tour
x4 Harry Hole, will miss Bavarian beer during this tour
x5 Stefan Küng, askes if Luxembourg will be a kingdom when he's there
x6 Jean Ollé Ollé, smiling but does not know why.
x7 Pit Schlechter, is already greeting his family
x8 Gaudenz Taverna, goes for the first stage
x9 Xaver Unsinn, our lovely German parasite

Goals: Maybe Taverna for stage one, rest is open for everything. Okay, maybe tickle Salas and/or Cervantes during the sprints.

Rumour has it that Takashi Murakami decided to stay at home to paint something that may be but does not really look like the beautiful Liechtenstein mountains... or castles... or bycicles? :?

Yeah, let's join the next round of the dialogue :-) Actually, I'm surprised not to see a big smile in the team of the Fürstentum on the start line in the Grossherzogtum. Anyway, Team Alkworld starts relatively cheap here, considering that Luxemburg is so rich.
1) Miguel Cervantes - looking out for windmills
2) Eliseo Alberto - fast
3) Pedro Almodovar - looking out for movie sets in Luxemburg
4) Romulo Betancourt - old, but really willing to show his skills once more
5) Joaquin Camacho - pretty fast
6) Esteban Echevarria - cheap
7) Francisco deMiranda - old and fast
8) Antonio Narino - the Arbeitstier
9) Bernardo OHiggins - young and fast

What?! you're not going for Salas?! That's an open invitation for the living smile then. :D

Argh! I wanted to ride le Dauphiné and now I find out that it overlapps with Luxembourg... Grrr... So, what to do...

I assume Dauphiné is a lot better than the Tour de Suisse for Gaudenz, right?

Of course. But still, Luxembourg looks very tempting... Grrr... But my fault. Instead of riding stupid Campania I chose Luxembourg without realising that it's too long to ride Dauphiné too. But looking only at the tours cat., it should be Dauphiné.

Alternative is now Luxembourg and then West Sumatra, brrr...

Team FL will ride le Dauphiné, it's decided. Wish you all lots of fun in Luxembourg.

Have fun in France, 55km ITT looks nice ;-) And now I can start my monologue here with a quick GC favorite check:

GC:
***** Miguel Cervantes (Alkworld)
**** Erik Breukink (ONCE-Team)
***
** James Sawyer (ChartreuseCycle), Fredrik Sonntag (Team Suessem)
* Roberto Gutierrez (Team Suessem), Pedro Almodovar (Alkworld)

Actually, it's quite tricky: Cervantes can make it with bonus seconds and some time gained on stage 4. Sawyer and Almodovar could even gain more seconds, if it comes to three mass sprints. But anyway, Cervantes should have best chances for winning sth here.

I wonder if Taverna could have beaten this 90 TT guy with 96 form...
