Spring classics 2012

Post by Robyklebt » Wed Feb 22, 2012 10:19 am

So, the classics seasons starts soon. As usual the afternoon is the only time that actually counts, since the rest doesn't bring together a decent group.

So, who wants to come and be parasitized and beaten by Alighieri at Het Volk?
First candidate already Alk :
Alkworld: ich werde wohl Het Blad jetzt doch um 15 Uhr fahrem
Any others want to get an appetizer of the spring 12? Apemination! Extermination of your self-esteem. Complete annihilation of your riders. My ridiculous tactical superiority combined with the pure class of my stars makes this unavoidable. But the defeats after all might make you stronger. Ah, no, extermination of your self-esteem. Show up anyway boys and girls.

Finally, the thread! FL will start the spring classics Saturday 10h, sadly without Alkworld and the Singe. Grr...

Line Up for Het Volk (!) will be:

x1 Nathaniel "Nate" Biedermann, the quiet one
x2 Fred Colon, tea time!
x3 Tim Hamberger, the German
x4 Toni Hassler, the angry one
x5 Niels Hörnö, shiny!
x6 Harry Hole, says cheers
x7 Stefan "King" Küng, well... the King
x8 Wesley Lichtenkiesel, the monster
x9 Takashi Murakami, creativity at its best

Goal: Victory of course! And setting the alarm clock well...

I am not German and I don't live in Germany, so I guess they don't bother about that.

Ok ok, beaten by Radler, at least he didn't win.. CC, well, against him losing is ok from time to time.. good race by him, took his chance... Only other one that tried to take is chance is actually SM. Mmh, no he tried to take a chance he never had.. .but all other incl. me were a bit clueless and not very convincing somehow..

Decent start for the Lizards. P3 for Arno more than to hope, and at least we've beaten Franco

Same thing as every year: Team FL does not know if and if yes, when exactly and how to ride MSR. And only 4 days remaining. Grrr... Well, first RSF has to work again, otherwise, the decision is very simple anyway :)

Fixstarters for FL should be (if!):

- Nathaniel Biedermann
- Toni Hassler
- Xaver Unsinn
- Stefan Küng
- Wesley Lichtenkiesel
- Niels Hörnö

Rest ist more or less open. Could be Marxer, Hole and Murakami for a hard race, could be Schmarotz, Hamberger and Colon for a sprinter attempt. Anybody has an opinion about that?

But what I really think about is Leso's quote:
MSR will be 5,3,6,4,2
MSR only 5 km long?! :D

Just kidding, but this could give the sprinters a push to try it...
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

I'd say that the edition online now is certainly one for the sprinters (or hill sprinters of course), if there are 3+ strong sprint teams or not too many strong classic teams. Farmer tricks should also be rather ineffective as the first real sieb opportunity is at Le Manie.

The NoPikouzes seems to go for 10 a.m. as well. Trying to improve last years performance with a 4th place (3rd of the sprint but Lulu in front!). If I'm not mistaken... it's impossible to check grrr!

1 Leonardo Alighieri: Leader, will defend Fabulous win. I'm ready
2 Omar Fahrny: Awesome sieber, secret leader and superstar: I helped Ramirez and Mattarozzi in the last races, now it's my turn
3 Gong Bang: High class support rider: I'll be there when the team needs me. I know where already, but won't tell you idiots
4 Pramoedya Haryono: Capitaine de route. I was here for Fabulous, I know how to ride MSR to win. I'll direct that thing, better than any symphony
5 Markus Leibundgut: The Bakhtiyar. That's the new word for flat superstar for those ignorants that didn't know that yet. Wherever the others are after climbs, I'll bring them back to the front.
6 Frédéric Montandon: The nr 2 in the flat team. I'm the weakest in the mountains in our team. THAT's how strong we are .Get ready for some serious racing you pussies.
7 Titus Olteanu: Another high class support rider. Up, flat, down, I can do it all. And I'm not alone, Gong, Wei, Haryono. We'll sieb at +2, we're that strong.
8 Wei Deihuai: And another high class support rider. I'll take it easy, we could start with 5 riders and we'd still win. I'll keep some energy for monday.
9 Markku Yrjönpoika: Leader, will defend Fabulous win. I'm winless now. Not anymore in 2 days.

My team, people who are ready to lose, show up at 14h. Not much more to say, you bunch of whining always complaining idiotic worthless sheep and worms really bore me to death. I'll start, I'll win, join, don't join, I really don't give a shit. It's about me, you guys are just a sideshow at best. So fuck off.

With kind regards,

Your master

Time quite unsure until now. 14:00 or 17:00 with the best chances until now. In 2010 Leandro had no chance to win it, 2011 with Callado was only lost by a big mistake which cost us the win there. So hopefully this year we are on the run for the win.

1. Luiz Lazequeira
2. Thiago deLemos
3. Joao Sabrosa
4. Santi Suarez
5. Arturo Sarrabal/Lima
6. Anderson Rodriguez
7. Damiano Wallnöfer
8. Ramon Cervalles/Hjelmstad
9. Manuel Sosa

I'm looking forward to it and the frustration after the race :D
