Tour de France 14h

Post by Robyklebt » Fri Jun 24, 2011 11:46 am

Seems it will be 14 h again

The Apes start :?: Actually not sure.

1. F. Conti
2. O. Fahrny
3. P. Haryono
4. M. Leibundgut
5. F. Montandon
6. S. Mori
7. B. Sagyrbayuly
8. O. Uchigasaki
9. D. Wei

Replacements

L. Alighieri
S. Urganov

Normally there should be no changes. Clearly all for Conti. But, it's actually not completely unlikely that the apes won't start at all. Apeish holidays... planned right after the tour, no connection with the tour, but fit in well for other stuff... now might be no travel at all... or one week earlier. or 10 days earlier. 10 days, no apes, clear, and Fabulous could be sold, well, if the decision is taken early enough, next 2-3 days I guess... he would want to find a TdF team then. 1 week earlier on holidays.. last 5 stages, then, mmh, some could be done anyway, but if that's the case, good chances that we start without Fahrny, with Alighieri instead. Stay the whole tour, well, maybe we bring Urganov. We like expensive teams for nothing.

Goals.. well it's the TdF, so goal nr 1 is avoiding death by boredom in the side programm. nr 2 a stage with Fabulous. nr 3 is Fahrny, nr 4 selling Qian.

I make it easier for the ape to decide: Lizard joins because his holidays are now a week later beginning rom the 23rd. So Peter will kick Conti's ass!

Provisional line-up:

Eddy Eickendreyer
Tom van Amstel
Frank Fonté
Jamal Jemomo
Maksim Maasikas
Michael Murphy
Vincent Soneau
Barney Stinson
Peter deVlamingh
Wizards Cycling: De toenemende Ster van Amsterdam

Hall of Fame:
Adam Wollfinger (73-82-80-47-57, 64 Reg)
Herbert Königsbauer (87-60-66-54-53, 57 Reg)
Manuel Clausen (76-83-63-46-64, 57 Reg)
Tom van Amstel (74-80-74-50-65, 35 Reg)

What's the point of going 100% for conti if there are 3 sprinter stages :?

SHIT.

The ape just found out this while looking at the calendar more closely.. regardless of the apeholidays, he will miss

stage 3, sprint
stage 5 sprint
stae 11 sprint

bah. miss all the sprint stages? where is the fun.. chances of an apeless tour are kind of growing, especially if then i miss the last week as well.

there are more than 3 sprint stages... the 3 I will miss.

then Montpellier and Paris too. that's 5. then there are 2 more possible ones, Lizieux and Carmaux. which makes 7 possible ones. 5 of those very very likely. the 2 others... we'll see.

and what's the point even if it's only 3
? a tdf stage win, only one, which actually is the goal, is worth more than winning all 9 qinghai stages with conti. ok, probably he can only win 8 of those in fact... plus it's the tdf, not the giro. at the giro, i don't want to sacrifice 1 percent of my 2 percent gc chance for conti. at the tour, yes, no problem.

edith. forgot chateauroux, so that's 6 fairly sure sprints and 2 harder ones...

SM Team should ride here... but will be certainly off the last week of the tour (which there are lot of mountain stages, so I don't care of mountain  )
The team for this tour normally :
Really sure :
Mc Callaghan (72/81 and 66 sprint)
Kulukowski (70/77/75 and 56 sprint, 54 reg also)
Tobreluts (50/58 and 94 sprint)
Holosko (55/81/70 and 61 sprint)
Pereplotkins (52/87/78)
Yung (49/69/86)
Bozovic (49/76/72)
Ovidiu Gerbacea (46/77)

Can be in :
Mc Bernick (my new young guy : 47/74/77)
Gardzijauskas (54/85/72)
Jedrejczewitz (42/79)
Huang (50/73)

for this guys, their participation will depend of the salary ;)
I want to don't go over 400k for the salary each day ;)

hmm 1,2 stronger helpers for a guy with 94 sprinter would be nice in this line-up

No, Sissi, because he rides Austria. Hmm, double entendre? Well...

So, Lizard not, Singe doesn't know yet. FL has to join? Ah, no. Traditionally skipping the Tour. Need money.

Looks like ape again, no Switzerland visit it seems now, so let's do the tour.

Should easily get second place with Fahrny behind Nipp looking at the announced teams  maybe should bring Urganov too for a double podium? Mmh, forgot his phone number.. can't call him.

And btw, I like SMs team.. that means he'll do more in the beginning if he wants sprints, meaning losses against Fabulous. So he can kill his romanian or so first, then I do the faster middle, a new job for Mori... nice, Mori not useless after 50 km as usual.

Lol yes, I like ride first for the sprints, and after I help less, but still help
I can could kill Jedrzejcewitz also (my new 42/79), I've buy him for that :D
Yes, my goal is to do good sprints, but I haven't do a top 5 in sprint with Tobreluts (with or without form) so I think I won't be dangerous
I hope to get 1 or 2 stages (especially baroudeur's stages), maybe a sprint, but that will be an extraordinary thing for Tobreluts if he tries to get a wheel  , and do lot of benefits for buying again and again (15 riders isn't énough! need a climber! )

3 days remaining... 8-)

EDIT : that it's strange for me to post here, always speak english... during the tour, I'll post in my press center in this international topic ;)
