Lars Björnby ... Klassikerzusammenhalter
Paul Potts ... für die besonderen Notfälle
Rintje vanRooijen ... die Verbindung zwischen Flach und Berg

Not interesting anymore, since now that I started winning, I'll keep winning, you'll all be only here to get stages. rosa is mine.

Projected Lineup

Shamshi Urganov Leader
Omar Fahrny Nr 2
Qian Baoyu The man to help in the hills
Uchigasaki Osamu: Topsprinter for flat and hills.
Mori Saburo: Flatrider for flat. and flat. Only flat
Bakthiyar Sagyrbayuli. Flat rider without a purpose, no reg
Pramoedya Haryono: 60-80 or something like that.
Frédéric Montandon: Flatrider with awesome downhill skill

These 8 are virtually assured of their place, nr 9 is fairly open.
New rider, a regmonster with few other skills would have good chances, Berlogea if he stays fit, Uzielli, but more difficult for him. Conti is still in the race, but his chances are at less then 5%, he agrees, no sense riding the Giro for those 2 sprints it looks RSF will get. Olimpiu with 46 mountain no chance, Fouché with 0 skills and less reg not really a favorite either.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!

Yay, Team FL tries to be there too, of course. Put will be difficult maybe. If it works. this are the Kieslers for the win:

Luigi Mastrangelo is our capitano for the Giro
His main helper is the other Italian in the Team, Tony Longo
Chuck Bass goes for champagne and the Giro girls.
Cédric Schmarotz goes for the sprints
Tim Hamberger will give him theses sprints
as well as Fred Colon
Frantz Granvorka is our Handyman
Haruki Murakami too
and who is No.9, nobody knows yet. Is it El Chupo? Or is it Hugo Marxer? Or is it a new face? Suprise sursprise.

Check it out!
I didn't mean to say it. But I meant what I said.

I should be there... ANyway, if I do the Giro, it will be in the afternoon (15 clearly better than 14h for me):

Lineup (prédicted values at start) :

1. Jurgen Bellinckx (23) : 82 - 59 - 70 - 50 - 55 - 57
2. Gilles Cordaro (23) : 59 - 76 - 79 - 51 - 56 - 52
3. Rémy Gaïlle (23) : 64 - 80 - 71 - 51 - 51 - 49
4. Corentin Genez : 48 - 64 - 66 - 52 - 56 - 49
5. JeanMarie Javaux : 60 - 79 - 69 - 69 - 55 - 57
6. Ruben Lodewick (or Prébuisson, Gorius or De neve... Depends of the cost)
7. Lionel Maréchal : 65 - 80 - 64 - 47 - 51 - 42
8. Benoit Pauwels : 48 - 75 - 64 - 67 - 52 - 63
9. Charles Spiroux : 64 - 79 - 79 - 50 - 62 - 59

Goal : Easy... Making everything explode! Reg will be my best weapon!

Ok, today the team announced the 12 pre-selected riders for the Giro:

Septimiu Berlogea Good, that's the first step, in the 12 pre-selected. Now I have to earn a place in the 9 starters. I think I still can perform well enough to help our team defend the Giro title from last year.
Fabrizio Conti Certo, voglio partecipare. So che le tappe adatte a me saranno pochissime, però anché per una sola tappa vale la pena partecipare.
Omar Fahrny No, don't take the spot for granted, not at all. I know I'll need to continue to progress to get the spot. Goals? I take it step by step, first I have to earn it, then we'll see.
Pramoedya Haryono Yeah, I think I'll be there. If Fabulous comes, I can help him, if he doesn't come, I can be useful for Osamu, Qian, Omar and Shamshi. Maybe even get my own chance one stage.
Frédéric Montandon The Giro.... I think if Fabulous gets selected I'm there for sure, if not, maybe. Just wait and see
Saburo Mori The ape has almost guaranteed me a place, so I think I will be there. Not easy of course all those mountains, but I'm though, recover well, I think I can help Urganov or Fahrny to win it
Qian Baoyu Nr 1 goal will be the GC win, Urganov, Fahrny, one of the 2. Nr 2 a stage for myself. Both of course would be perfect.
Bakhtiyar Sagyrbayuly Not an easy course for somebody like me, that's sure. But I hope to be there, regardless of Fabulous. With him, I'll be happy to ride for him, without I'll go for my own chances on certain stages.
Caius Todea Just signed the contract for next season today, and I get pre selected for the Giro. It's a dream come true! 2 dreams! Now I will just continue training until I join the team next month. If I actually get selected it would be fantastic.
Osamu Uchigasaki Well, 12 riders, I'm one of them. I hoped that the ape would announce the fix riders and a few for the open spots, hoping to be fix, to know for sure. A bit nervous now, yes, I think the Giro actually fits me well, there are a few stages I could have a chance.
Shamshi Urganov I know I haven't fully convinced everybody so far. But I feel I can do very well in this Giro, either as leader, then fight for the win, or in support for Omar, who can win it too.
Wei Dehuai I think I have my chances to be there. The team will need somebody like me in the TTT. Mountains? I don't feel bad in the mountains, I'm much more confortable riding in the mountains and hills that people seem to assume, I might surprise a lot of "experts" in my career.

Most disappointed not to be in the list was Feng Ouyang, who hoped to finish his career with his second Giro participation. He is now thinking about terminating his career immediately, just announced that he didn't feel ready to start tomorrow, he'll be replaced in the line-up for Amstel by his compatriot Wei Dehuai. The 5 other riders, the Ducu-brothers, Fouché, Kusi Leibundgut and Uzielli took it better. We hope Feng will continue riding though, he won't be at the Giro, but we still appreciate is work and knowledge and his retirement would be a huge loss to the team at this point.

He's one of the 12! Not sure he'll actually start. REspectively the ape hasn't told me yet, maybe he knows. The Ape seems to know everything anyway.

The ape just analyzed the details on the Gazzetta...

Fabulous analysis

Stage 2, possible. 170 meters up in 3 km 40 or so km from the end.
Stage 3 impossible
4 impossible (and officially medium mountain anyway)
8 at least a 5 in the second to last km.
10 no problem
12 no problem

So 3 likely, 4 maybe, not really sure, depends on the design. Basically what was known before..

I really like the idea of riding the Giro although I will miss some stages.
It could be the afternoon Giro, depends on my working schedule in May.
If I start, it will be a cheap team. Maybe around Jamie, maybe only with two Classics.
I am still thinking/analysing/hoping...

1st All riders in my team with a "de" or "van" before the last name I don't count to the alphabet... so it's Amstel -> A, nevermind, just my own tradition. 2nd in any case Stockdale and Eickendreyer both as captains.. so alphabetically everything clean ;)
