Post by Hansa » Tue Apr 30, 2024 10:32 pm

Hansa will start here probably going for GC currently undecide who we will bring.

1. Max Villiger will be our GC leader and start for sure
2. Franz Lochmatter will be our Edelhelfer

Classics:

not sure how many we will bring but these 4 are our options:

CH Xavier Paredes
CH Larry Vontobel
CH David Glanzmann
CH Noah Rey

Flat Riders:

CH Fridolin Flückiger
CH Emil Kellenberger
CH Oskar Althaus
CH Cyril Lin

Fridolin and Emil are pretty safe, Oskar and Cyril both possible 1 or even none possible.

Sprinter:

CH Jakob Wolfensberger

Not sure currently if we bring a sprinter.

Because of the unpopular 15h afternoon time, we will start in the evening Giro now.

No.1 Randu…captain

Has been our captain for his whole career. Maybe this will be his first and only GT as our leader.

No.2 Adderley…helper

Cheap helper for every terrain.

No.3 Beere…sprinter

To slow against real sprinter, hopefully get some chances in hilly stages. With an eye on Maglia Ciclamino.

No.4 Chim…helper

Our best flat rider. Maybe get a chance in some breakaways.

No.5 Halim…helper

Important for the pave stage and some breakaways.

No.6 Jebali…classic

Strong classic to support Randu. Will get his chances if the situation allows it.

No.7 McPhee…mountain helper

Because of his lazy training, he is not ready for a leader role. Has to earn this spot for the TdF or will be helper again.

No.8 Musona…helper

Decent helper for every terrain.

No.9 Yeang…helper

The young gun in our team will be the one with most work I guess. Hopefully he will reach Rom.

525k salary pretty much without a real GC favorite. Let’s see how far we get and what we can achieve!

Podium and some stages are our goals!

Big salary and the danger of falling asleep on too many stages made us switch to early evening edition.

Let’s have fun and a great Giro 2024!
