Germany 2016 15h

Post by team fl » Mon Oct 10, 2016 10:24 am

Fantasy Germany tour? Why not. So Team FL is joining with the following line-up (most likely):

x1 Breyten "BreyBrey" Breytenbach
x2 Feliciano "the Centurio" Centurion
x3 Anselmo Grau, because it's not always black and white
x4 Carlos Lampe, to light the GC up
x5 Kenneth "Kenny" Low
x6 Bambang "BamBam" Megaranto
x7 Amartya "Marty" Sen
x8 Fridolin "TschuTschu" Tschugmell
x9 Tony "WC" Woodcock

Goals? No idea. Maybe to win eveything? Sounds good! So let's do it.

Semper Fidelis will join this tour with a cheap lineup

Goals are:
1# win the White Jersey
2# try to win a stage with a escape grp.
3# have some fun at the first german tour since some years

best wishes to all participants

Won the first stage and first TTT win ever of the team. Actually thought that Warsaw had more chances but he was off at the start so it was easier.

Now with a stage in the pocket and objective reached, we can see how is Germany :)

Will try to keep the yellow as long as possible. Good luck everybody!

Nice escape in stage 2, in which Plamen Hristov from Tukhtahuaev was the luckiest one in front and got the stage win, as well as green, while his Team mate Milorad Kosanin grabbed the red jersey for the leader in the mountain classement. GC-wise Liquigas-CND could Keep the damage in control after a late attack by Vlasov from Luques, who is now wearing yellow, 1:06 in front of the GC favourite Paquito Ortiz. Anyway, this was just the easy start into a tour that offers lots more decisive moments during the upcoming stages.

The stage didn't really go as I thought but well. I was a bit surprised to see runners not helping in the only stage where he could really have a chance, I was actually ok with a MS and keeping the yellow, so decided to switch for a late attack.

Maybe it arrived a bit too late but still it brought something more than 25" to Evgeny, keeping the yellow.

In my opinion who can be really happy about this stage is leserein, his 84-74 now is back in the fight after yesterday TTT and can give some troubles to the others also in other stages, even if the victory for Ortiz seems still pretty easy.

First mountain stage with the expected Paquito win, who is also wearing yellow now and leading in the mountain classement. Due to double reg it was an easy day for Liquigas-CND who could celebrate a double victory with Malacarne being second after a double attack at the first climb. Best of the rest was Lampe from Team FL followed by Villegas (leserin) and Belli (MG Technogym). Let's hope for lots of action in today's stage and maybe a surprise for the stage victory and some classements.
