I will be here without climber, as I have none in my team. Therefore my target will not be the overall win, but stage wins. I hope I will be able to ride offensive without killing the whole team in the first half of the race.

The line-up features 3 classics and 6 riders with 56 to 59 mountain, but strong in flat.

1 Pawel Alexandrow: still there and strong, but maybe the last big race he starts as leader
2 Otto Nikodym: his successor, much cheaper but not as strong in downhill
3 Giuseppe Peano: solid classics rider, but not a star
4 Jakob Steiner: the reg monster in the team
5 Ernst Fisher: solid helper
6 Boris Galjorkin: good in escapes, but not enough reg to try much in this tour
7 Lars Phragmen: another useful helper
8 Marshall Stone: will he get a chance for his first win in his 14th season?
9 Evariste Galois: the first race for this young man, the Andes are not the nicest way to start a career

Welcome at the best edition of this tour, obviously.

First stage, a big group tried to get away with portiolo (best sprint of the group) in it. Hansa and I got it back. Second group goes, very small. OK.
At the mountains, some small attacks, Lorient seems to be aiming for the KOM-jersey with a classic, Portiolo with his climber.
Some guys got a lot of riders in trouble, especially tsmbc (2?) and Tusnad (3). A lot of riders under 50 hill in this group, and without reg, might be funny in the end.

At during the last 100kms, I controlled for a MS, which was hard energywise (stupid weather!) and worked pretty well since BlOEMbergen was able to add one more win to his achievements.

Regarding GC, the whole thing seems quite undertermined yet. Some good mountain riders with no team, or lack of reg, or experience. Hansa seems to got the best chances all in all. We'll have a closer look after the TTT.
Anyway, Cornelis will try to win the tour.

Training today changes the situation a little bit. Lauener is now the only 89 climber. Palou lost 1 and is now 88. Together with the time loss yesterday his chances are much worse than 24 h ago. Beckett 1 up to 87. But the TTT really hurts, he could have an advantage on the other top climbers. Now he is behind and it will be very hard to get the time back.

It should be very difficult to beat Lauener now. Hansa has the team and the experience. SilvaC is 1:17 in front but has no team to help him. This will hurt him one day. A rider with outside chances could be Hedinger, Hansa's number 2. He could be the plan B if Hedinger cannot get rid of SilvaC.

Becket not in the position to win was only the Helper for the Huber it seems but the time loss not really good for Haudegen also againt Hansas helper with 86 hard to gain time with only 87 mountain, Fragola back to 88 but because of the team maybe still with the 2nd best chances, maybe if Haudegen rides for Beckett now we could see a very good fight for position 2 tsmbc and tusnad still without team dont think they can keep the time against all 3 others (Hansa,Fragola,Haudegen) But maybe if Haudegen and Fragola try something together they can beat HAnsa but the situation for Hansa is much better now.

For me Now

Hansa ******
Haudegen/Fragola ***

Gw hansa for your 1000th race :)

So far I think this Campeonato has a nice design. But also, I believe we know the winners of 10h (Alk), 15h (Singe) and 21h (Hansa) after only 4 stages. And I have not checked the other editions
A change is still possible, but unlikely.

@ nopik yep right but a quick look at 18h shows that the 18h edition seems quite open

But not sure at all a tour like this is hard to control for 10 days
