Trentino 14h

Post by team fl » Tue Apr 16, 2013 1:37 pm

Instead of La Fleche Wallonne, Team FL takes part of the Giro del Trentino as preparation for LBL and the real Giro. The following riders will be sent to Italy, in pure alphabetical order:

x1 Stéphane Antiga, there as usual, the A in the team
x2 Stefano Benni, prepares for LBL
x3 Benni Büchel, tries to confuse the team management with his first name
x4 Victor Fargas, good asset
x5 Jan Flachbart, TTT asset
x6 Tomasz Kowalski, TTT asset
x7 Roy Liechtenstein, prepares for some Italian paintings. In dots.
x8 Eddie Sixpence, prepares for white
x9 Walter Walch, would have loved to ride La WALonne

Goals are: GC, white, red, green, team, etc. pipapo or similar. whatever.

Piemontesi wins the first stage. grrrr... Should have been Benni's, but I missed to speed up at the last climb. Grmpf. Anyway. After the TTT we have a quite clear situation in the GC: Benny Hill is the big favorite (no check needed for that), 37 seconds in front of the FL duo Lichtenstein and Sixpence, both worse in the mountains than Hill, while the rest of the climbers seems to be out of reach already. Contrary to that, the points classification will be quite interesting. It's very unlikely that Piemontesi will be able to defend that with only middle mountain and mountain stages left. So it will be either a climber or a classic rider. Benni seems to fit, although he missed to get more points today. The youth classement seems as set as the GC with Sixpence having a decend advantage in front of the weaker climber Cazzorla from Abarth Racing. And then finally, there is the mountain classement left. Piemontesi also in red (he's quite colourful), but most probably a climber getting that. Team FL just hopes for three more interesting stages and more luck with phone calles during the following days.

good for me, that many mountainriders are loosing so much time at the TTT
... only the 2*84er of FLs with a good team and Bsy with a greatful team (and a possible Multiteam) are in a nearer distance.

But like ever, dont make a party before the end .-)
cu tomorrow

If you make the party after the end, nobody will be there. Since everybody will be back home.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!
Don't punish bugusers. We all have to use bugs, since most of them are declared as "features"!

Why should I need him? Hasn't won his stage today either. And Roy beats Benny anyway. Ha!

Last stage ended as expected: Ottavo with his second win although VeloPiemonte refused to work in the peloton for the most time of the race, even attacking himself. In the final climb, Eddie attacked Hill, but Ottavo pulled the lucky bastard back. Grmpf. At least Benni got green, FL the team classement and Eddie the expected white. Besides 2nd and 3rd place in the GC for Roy and Eddie. But still: the missing stage win from yesterday is annoying...
