Qatar 16h

Post by gaurain rx » Sat Feb 02, 2013 7:27 pm

So, here comes the topic for the tremendous Qatar tour... Everybody is waiting for it, the race profile seems wonderfull, and also, it will be my only Tour this month :-) Lineup (which could be really competitive in a "former rider race"

1. Ghislain Lambert : 36 years old but still the legs to compete here, he will be happy with one stagewin;
2. Franco Delponte : 35 years old, old flat helper, still usefull with 84... and he becomes cheaper and cheaper!
3. Matthieu Deroy : age 22... There to learn from his old mate;
4. Yannick Frognet : 27, my little flat bomb;
5. David Jaret : 38 years Old, maybe his last race here, or maybe not... But with 82 flat on such profiles, he will be a great helper;
6. Marissa Lopard : 29, flat Bomb 2;
7. Jean PetitJean : 22, Early controller in the stage and also TTT captain.
8. Terence Vrunethen : 32, Flattie with hill, who cares about him here!!

Cost : 355k ... Mmmm, still unable to go under limit but clearly better than before!

isn`t it the early race in the morning at 9?! ;)

ONCE-Team`s lineup:

Willy Michaux - a youth rider with 22 and strong legs in a sprint.
Mauricio Ortega - 22 and the future classic-star of our team. has strong legs too ;)
Jörg Jaksche - our King at the flat (90) with best Reg.
Perter Wrolich - strong at flat(85). important for our team.
Alber Blattmann - smiling young rider with good Reg.
Fjodor Michajlowitsch - wants to show our shirt during escapes and wants to support Alex Zülle.
Muchtar Auesow - important helper for our team with much experience.
Alex Zülle - our sprinter. he thought there were more hills in this profile. but now he is very motivated to show his sprintskill in the flat, too :D

target: a stagewin, however and whoever :mrgreen:

Today ONCE-Team reached his firt target to win a stage. the young Ortega won the sprint out of a small group of 5 riders that escapes 20 km before the finishline.
Now ortega in white. After this stage he told in an interview, that he wants to wear this jersey till to the end of the tour :D We will see, if the young boy is able to do it ;)

the gc after the 3rd stage:
1. Ida Royani (Team Indonesia) 00:00:00
2. Justin Lader (rastullah) 00:00:32
3. Felix Finucane (rastullah) 00:00:32
4. Mauricio Ortega (ONCE-Team) 00:00:45
5. Jörg Jaksche (ONCE-Team) 00:00:59
6. Budi Sudarsono (Team Indonesia) 00:01:14
...

Interesting to see what rastullah will do. Ida only can follow Justin OR Felix ;) thats why there could be a chance for some action 8-)
