Prolog is over, nothing very new by now, no surprises, no falls, nobody gave up, absolutly borng the giro

I still think Poison has a chance in gk, of course he needs same good aktion in mountain stages, because he will loose in time trial

hmm, nano team is not the strongest

my indepentent prognose:

Favorites:

Maglia Rosa:
***** Heal World
**** R. Escobar, HectorIvan PalacioMontoya
*** Schlömilch, Chadasch, P. Escobar
** the other climbers
* the other riders

First Heal World: Silly name!!!! He is strong, but his team? we will see what he can do

Escobar has a strong timetrial team and good team. Also good for him: there are 2 Escobars^^

HectorIvan PalacioMontoya has a very strong team. he will loose time in time trial, but with some good attacks with help from his teammates he can win. And there are 20 sec. bonus at the end of each stage...

Schlömilch and Chadasch are both good riders, a little weak in downhill... and there teams are not so helpful on the really steep stages like the last two horrerstages

Of course all the other riders have chance too, like the one from gala who can still improve their mountain skills. Astana also when he makes good attackes with his 83 70 and his 87er

Maglia Ciclamino:

***** Pils
**** Leite Ribeiro, CabezasNunez
*** Callado, Zemmama
** other sprinters
* other riders

Maglia Verde:

*** climber with ambitions
** classic riders with ambitions

Maglia Bianca:

***** Gourgue
** Gröger

Black number:

**** Rajan Nandju
*** weak riders who are faster than the "besenwagen"

Classif. a Squadre:

**** Poison
*** Astana, Luna, Ansach, Magnunm
* other teams

For the moment i'm not so sure if i can really beat gröger! Depends a lot on the TTT on wednesday. I lost 1 minute yesterday and i will lose about 1 minute at the last day in the tt. I think i will lose about 3 minutes in the TTT. So i have to get 5 minutes at the hard mountain stages. But the team of Ansach is stronger at the hard mountain stages. I hope that Ben will gain at least one mountain at the trainings. It will be a really hard fight i think.

For the rest i have nearly the same opinion. I hope for some nice actions by Luna. He is my big favorite to beat Nano, with one of the both Escobars for sure.

what do you think:

How many riders will finish the giro?
Is it hard this time to stay?
With a little grupetto-working it is no problem?
45 minutes is the "karrenzeit", oder?

Give your opinion to the really importent part of the giro!

The Strade Bianchi at stage 7 will bei interesting, too. The GC might see a bit of a shake-up there. Palacio is the only strong climber with Pave more than 60. And Gröger (58) as well can make a good time difference on the others.

My climber has 57,2 pave Luna. I dont think that i lose time there.
Today i wasn't there, but Bear did the job for me. With place 3 i finally got the place that i thought. It might be my place in every sprint stage. Its a very bad constellation for Callado.

No, your one of those who can gain time with your pave-skill. But I didn't necessarily count Gourgue as one of the top gc-favourites, that I was talking about.
But, of course, every climber is in the mix generally.

Ah okay, then you're right, there won't be any chance for me i think. But it frightens me that you count Gröger to the favorites...

Well, he is a so called "Huber". And he is young. Maybe he earns one or two skill points during the Giro. Further he has good team for the TTT on wednesday. I don't dare to rule him totally out. But ok, Heal World is the much better "Huber" anyway.

Many teams will take that stage as a rest day because some might have to recover from the TTT. Maybe Neutro can benefit from it and force a mass sprint more or less easily. It is long from the Castellania to the finish. Maybe too long for the classics teams and "hill sprinters". But it might offer a good chance for Neutro to get rid of Zemmama and finally win his first stage with Pils.

strohhut, wrong correction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

maglia rosa was ok, it's the maglia ciclamino that should be maglia rossa.
Kraftsystemrevision! Include the distance!
Basics reform: Give blue a chance!

Please tell me something about the stage yesterday... :)

I am 3 minutes behind Ruben Zettel so i think my chances to win the Maglia Bianca are somehow very good. Ernst Gröger is beatable for me.

Not much to say. A group of 4, containing the Maglia Verde, went on the road. Bamba extended his lead in the mountains competition. Renault Magnum tried to split the field on the two little raises midway, but it went nowhere. After the hills the front group gave up and Neutro rode it home.

6 stages - 4 times podium. A little bit unhappy about that. But today i had so much luck when Ben helped Callado so i have to be lucky i think.

5h podium today :) Gourgue lost about 1 minute to some riders with the same pave-skill, so maybe there are some with a early form for tomorrow. On the other side he won 1 minute to World and one Escobar.

L RSV got his well deserved penalty today. Don't know when he was there for the last time. Superwinner destroyed him all chances he had in the GC.

My favorites for the GC before the first hard mountain stage:

***** Pablo Escobar
**** Hector PalacioMontoya
*** Rafael Serrano, Oskar Schlömilch, Ruben Escobar

I believe that everybody who is counting on a good GC place will have a late form.

Good stage. Pablo in the time bonusses as well as in front of Osorio. I anticipated Pelirhyn to win, since he is the lesser threat in gc. That's why I didn't want a Renault rider to be in an escape group. I would have been fine with a harmless group to get through. But nobody wanted to escape anymore after Renault and me dropped their riders. Strange^^
