Giro 22h

Post by NoPikouze » Mon Apr 30, 2012 10:06 am

I will ride this edition since its the only time possible. We'll see if I'm there everyday...

Going for a massive domination : 8 stages, 1+2 in gc, points and mountain jersey... And team of course.

Who else is going to join ?

But after 5 stages nothing important happens: Only 2 teams won stages, maglia rosa on the same shoulders.
What i miss is a favo check, but i am not able to do this, i have no experiences with gc riders. So I wait for opinions now ...

Ok, lost 28" because i wanted to win the stage... Instead of 13" if I attack and end at 1" of tirado and tonkov, I guess... Fucking stupid game. I had 2 helpers...
The 85 climber is at 2" of the 90... but an 88 is unable to follow. Senseless.

Of course I took to much risks since I didnt think of the boni seconds. Dammit.

Tirado wins, and Tonkov beats Mirjaqip in the sprint for the 2nd place. Losing 13" and 4" again, but its ok this time, best possibility of all the bad options. It seems better to have Tirado 1st than Tonkov.
On the other hand, taking 16" on Oshea and other climbers, good.
Tomorrow a rest-day. Finally. Team still recovering from the TTT :?

ABT!

Anybody but Tirado!

But you seem to have a cool Giro, the only group I really like! Except that Radler dude, just don't let him win. Or force him to be more active in the forum...

"Cool" stage yesterday !

At the foot of the Col de Joux, nobody in tempo, so I decide to attack, according to The Plan.
Km: 138, Steigung: 6
Mirjaqip Qoshqarbaev (NoPikouze) attackiert
Ivan Aboukoumov (NoPikouze) attackiert
Oisin OShea (SpecializedTrek) geht mit
About 1' advantage. Only team online who reacts is Avesa. With a 77-56 and a 71 78. At the top of the climb, my 85 56 manages to have a 1'30 advantage. SERIOUSLY ??!! This was Bullshit :(
Of course he pulls everybody else, especially Lohr the huber from silenzos who is in pink and almost always offline, but who also took 2 mountain trainings during this giro... (83 berg and 81 tt... pff)

Downhill... not much to do. Perfect timing to catch Broyles who could help Aboukoumov a little bit.

Then at the foot of Cervinia, 1'20 advantage for Mirjaqip and Oshea. Radler starts to help with Bummler the 77 78 until km 195. On the steep kms, we increase the gap, and on the flatter ones, bummlers closes it. Argh. Still around 1'20 at km 195 and the tonkov/tirado "attack". In the final km they are able to come at 10" of our group, SpecializedTrek takes the sprint and the stage, and I get 10" in the gc after 67 km of attacking and going under reg, whereas others did nothing excepted using weak riders and came back easily. Great physics, love it.
Oh and of course Lohr lost 1'. On this incredible stage. Again a joke.

If he wins the giro, I think i'll start doing crazy things...

Stage 17 was Legen - wait for it.... - Dary !
Only a bestial Tirado could prevent Mirjaqip from taking this one.
Almost everybody seems to be ouf for the gc now, except the 3 topclimbers.
1- Mirjaqip
2- Tonkov 20"
3- Tirado 47"

With 2 difficult mountain stages and a TT to come (all three have 50 tt-skill), this is the best race ever ! :D

In the end it was too easy, with radler being offline for this decisive stage... Dammit.
I still missed the stagewin of course...

Told you roughly in 1832 not to care about stage wins! 8 stage wins but second or the Girowin without a stage?
