La Vuelta 22h

Amigos,

The most underrated GT of the year is coming! It has always been critized. Too many mountain arrivals, stages too short and too easy to control, irrelevant short time trials... This year will be different! King stage in the first week, two long time trials (one individual, one team), possibilities even for sprinters, sterrato and pave,... Everything you need for a GT! Well, still too many easy to control mountain arrival stages, but ok, it's Vuelta.

Gipfel most likely starting 22h version. Jacob will lead a stage hunting team (what else could we do with this weak team?). The green triple is the goal obviously (maglia ciclamino, maillot vert & maillot Verde)! But is it realistic? Jacob trained well, but we don't even know the points distribution. So what will be the points per stage? Per IS? Will there be sprinter teams? Will there be a GC favo going for green? Will GC favos control or do they prefer chaos in flat stages?

So how about opponents? 22h most likely the biggest - the only real! - Vuelta. Thought maybe even 2 fields is possible. But Katsche dropped. Mangahn dropped. Aux dropped. So Aux multis probably dropped. RS Coesitz dropped. Lorient dropped. Wait? Lorient? Aaah no, didn't drop. First team allowed to ride parallel races Denmark and Vuelta. Can I have the same license for Tirreno and Paris Nice 2020, please? Anyway some more big names for 22h possible: All the French with Lorient, Poke, Ide, CM. Feiting. Flolandria. Who else? :)
