German tv channels and their performance:

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/kupfern ... -home-soil
"It was the same for the European Championships in Frankfurt [earlier in the season]. I was thinking not to start due to an injury, but then the organizers told me, 'Hanka, if you don't come then the TV is not coming'. I didn't believe them but after they assured me that they were specifically told that if Kupfernagel doesn't start, we don't send a camera crew, then I decided to race.
Cross world championship (!) in Germany (!!) with several races on saturday and sunday (juniors, U23,...). Who cares? It looks like the whole broadcast of the weekend are ~90 minutes on SR/SWR. No ARD, no Eurosport, nothing. There's not even a Biathlon world cup taking away the broadcast time this weekend! :D

http://www.youtube.com/user/channelC11# ... ltBzzIIN-I

Looks like it was planned a different way.

Schumacher after the race:
"He [Zaballa] told me that there was a sharp bend before the finish, where you have to be in first position if you want to win." ( http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/first-v ... suspension )

Zaball was first around that bend. So...
