A friend of mine copied me some mp3's of Lacuna Coil. I didn't know them before. He said, they are Italian. I kinda like it. Listening to them right now.

Do you know them, Aux?

Well as I am into Gothic Rock, I at least knew their name and very few songs, but reading that yesterday i thought i could listen to some more.

Best of all Gothic rock songs I know:

Sirenia - Meridian

huu - these typical male deep monster voices do definitely not belong to the aspects I like most in goth music. I can stand a well dosed portion of it, but I couldn't select a song of that kind as my favorite gothic song. I think, I'm just not enough into Goth to appreciate that. There are only few variations of Goth that I like, I guess.

few for me too, i can't stand all that electronic goth music.

But some others from this band with more female voice:

Sirenia - In sumerian haze

So quite a bandwith, but only the first to albums are good, the rest sucks.

And another one you may like:

Epica - Cry for the moon

Thank you. The first one i like most. The two others both have something that doesn't appeal to me. Different things. Obviously Goth music in deed covers a wide range of styles. I'm open to some of them, but not for all. I cannot explain precisely at the moment.

The CD containing that song is the only one I own from Faith No More. Listening to it every some years. Enjoying it. Then it goes back into the cupboard and rests there for another little eternity.
