Laugenspitze

Post by Laugenspitze » Tue Sep 06, 2022 5:42 pm

Welcome to Laugenspitze

After a long, long time, the new beginning. So far it's been very successful.
The young team develops and shows itself from time to time.

For those who haven't noticed yet. As a manager, I already had the "ogopogo-racing" team under my wings.

What now? We will try to set up a so-called old-school sprint team. One or the other rider should of course also be able to take part in hilly or mountainous areas, but this is not the main goal.

My concerns, which were 33% decisive for the long break (67% RL), have come true, but since that can't be changed either way, it doesn't matter.

Me and the team are doing our best and trying to move forward like in the good old days.

Why the "Laugenspitze"? That's just a great view I get from my second favorite vacation spot.

Of course, mistakes have been made. A bad buy brought some loss. We also had to let go of a rider that we actually wanted to keep. But two older riders who fit well into the team were committed.

Small anecdote - I didn't get the flat rider I wanted. The "fantasticos" team sold it on August 30th, along with all the drivers. Nothing else has happened to this day. The "schnuggeritos" team then bought it on September 2nd. "Honi soit qui mal y pense". If I had put my entire capital in my hands, I would have even gotten him. Doesn't matter.
Btw. Today at 14:00 a team (Kamarant or something like that) wanted to take part in the race (Firenze - Arezzo), Div.8, zero riders. Thank goodness that didn't work. Strange things are happening in the world. Lots of very smart people around me. Maybe I'll watch some old episodes of X-Files tonight. Doesn't matter.

The team around Kenneth Hanna is ready for now. The first real goal was also achieved. We wanted to look good at the "Maryland Cycling Classic" but were suddenly favorites because our closest competitor left his captain at home. We were able to control the race from the start. Despite a complete confusion in our sprint train, Hanna made everything clear.

In the near future the team will go to the training camp and only drive sporadically. We'll be back at the start in October.

Hello, since the transport connections and the communication channels in the training camp are good, we can now contest a few races.

And "bang", a great Kenneth Hanna won the "GP de Fourmies". The manager's concerns that nobody really wanted to drive MS were torn up by the team. Drive on sprint and through.

Apart from a little help now and then, the team had to do the work on their own again. On the last few kilometers the expected attacks came, one of them even announcing the exact kilometer (how fair and clever!). But the boys were able to catch the breakaways and hold the field together. We were able to face the most dangerous rider with a precision landing in the last kilometer. Hanna then very close, with the finish photo, in front. Yay!

New report from the training camp.
After the entire technical staff had dragged themselves up the "Sainte-Victoire" to the "Croix de Midi", the race in Belgium was followed via video chat.

The team was highly motivated, although the captain started the race slightly injured. Only one co-favorite was involved in the pursuit from the start. So the team had to work. A turbulent race with high pressure from a new team and an insidious breakaway condemned by everyone, as well as a misunderstanding in radio communication between two teams, threw up the cat. 2 race, which was actually classified as unspectacular.

It came as it had to come, the sprint was also strange. From the start of the race, Hanna had the right instincts and took the wheel of an outsider. The bill paid off. In the last 50 meters he left the competitors behind. All other favorites were out before then. Well done Kenneth Hanna.

Training camp is over. The team trained very well. Unexpected training-results were also obtained.

After our return, Romain Delaunay was able to take a 5th and a 3rd place. We continue ...

After some strange moves by Kenneth Hanna, he seems to have recovered from his crazy high-altitude flight, back to solid ground. Result: second place today in Belgium. Even if he still has a lot to learn.

Not forgetting Maurice Roux's unexpected third place in the Tours Classic. The fastest in the sprint, the race director's decision not to drive in the field was probably a mistake.

Nonetheless, we're happy. Not least because of the training results brought by the boys. :D

After a wild race messed up by a mad new team, we've got a win.
Our two oldies quickly recognized the situation and made a plan.
Impressive Rasmus Nerhus and an excellent Ben Vogt made things clear. The trust in them was now paying off.

Hello folks,

Due to positive professional changes, I had to scale down my activities as manager, director and marketing officer here.

But there is already a lot to report. In addition to a few great results, there were also one or the other victory.

Of particular note is Romain Delaunay. Although he is extremely lazy about training, but who cares if ...

The new jersey is also ready. But on RSF due to a few little things not always presented as desired.
Here is a photo from the press department.

The composition of the team has also changed. Here is the new overview.

Kind a pre-christmas gifts from my team to me. Again Ben Vogt showed that he was not a bad investment. With his experience he even manages to correct the bad strategy of his race director. And Kenneth Hanna? Speechless. One of the best that has ever startet for me. "Silent Night Holy Night ..."

You managed to build a real big team of sprinters, 20 victories in only 170 races is a good percentage of victory! can't wait to see you diversify and play with classics or why not climbers!

PS: I saw the Marseille logo ahahah

Thank you.

Diversification? Gladly, but there isn't enough money for that. Romain strictly refuses to train. That's a problem. But maybe in the future...

And Hanna?

Parfois bleu, blanc, noir TSV 1860
