I am glad to inform that the Greatest Team ever existed, the most dominant team in the history of RSF, lead by the best manager, accomplished the 2016 objectives:
Giro, Le Tour and Vuelta- all 3 won this year.
Liquigas-CND 2016 was for sure the best team in the history of RSF!!! with the best rider in the history of RSF - Paquito Ortiz!!!

I know you all would like me to stop riding. The reason is very easy to understand. If Liquigas-CND rides then the others are losing.

So What's next?
Reconstruction!!! of the Greatest Team for 2017 season.
Actually reconstruction already started with the following riders:
Sven Torstensson 55-71-70-49-65 57 REG
Magnus Nordahl 49-68-79-61-53 42 REG
Carlo Genovese 47-74-64-49-66 39 REG
Giacomo Pinzi 51-73-54-50-48 40 REG

In September - October we are planning to buy a nice climber 72+ 50+ 70+ 52+(TT) and a nice classic.

Then, until January we will probably buy a 2nd climber and one more classic and try to become the most dominant team in 2017 ...at least.

On 1st of October 2016 the Greatest team ever existed Liquigas-CND signed constract with 2 more riders:
-Ambrogio Pugliese - Italian Climber- with the following skills 73-54-73-48(TT)-47(Sprint)-56(reg) ... meantime he did not train mountain once at 22yo...therefore his main skills at 1st Dec 80-58-73
-Ivan Escobar -Colombian Classic - with the following skills 56-74-67-50(TT)-56(Sprint)-57(reg), main skills at 1st Dec 63-80-67.

It's the time to count the Liquigas-CND great and astonishing victories in 2016:

January:
-The year started well for Team Liquigas-CND winning the 1st GC with Paquito Ortiz in the f.king North-east India.
-Predrag won the NN/CN of Serbia!

February:
-Paq won his 2nd GC Ruta del Sol

March
-Paq won the f.king Tirreno
-Dario won Catalunya

April
-Dario ended 2nd in pais Vasco and Castilla
-Paq won 2 stages in Romandie

May
-Paq won GC in Romandie and mountain classification
-Paq won GC in Giro D'Italia and 3 stages

June
-The greatest team won the teams classification in Luxembourg and Matias Delgado ended 3rd in GC.
-Paq won 3 stages in Suisse Tour and the GC
-Miguel Perez won the NN/CN of Uruguay, Matias Delgado won the NN/CN of Argentina and Andres Velasquez won the NN/CN of Paraquay

July
-Sir Paq won GC, Mountain classification and 4 stages in TDF

-August&-September
-Sir Paq won GC , mountain classification and 1 stage in Utah
-Matias Delgado ended 2nd in Ain Tour
-Sir Paq won GC, 10 stages, points classfication and mountain classification in Vuelta
Dario malacarne ended the Vuelta 2nd and Matias won 1 stage!!!
-Vito calabrese ended 2nd in Giro della Toscana
-Vito Calabrese won Agostoni
-Sir Paq won Milano-Torino and Giro Del Emilla


October
-Matias Delgado ended 2nd in Lombardia
-Sir Paq won the GC, mountain Classification and 2 stages in Deutschlandtour while Dario Malacarne ended second in GC.
-Carlo Genovese won a stage in Sachsen pflaster
-Ivan Escobar won the NM/CN of COlombia

November
Sir Paq won the GC, Points classification and 7 stages in Andes; Dario Malacarne was 2nd in GC.

December
Paq , at 35 YO won the GC nad 2 stages in Atlantico pacifico tour.

Concluding, Liquigas-CND Team 2016 IS THE MOST DOMINANT AND SUPERIOR TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF RSF!!!

It is clear that somebody is involved in this very bad training of my climbers starting with Dario Malacarne period!
Sooner or later this person/organization is going to be revealed!!!
The responsible persons will be punished accordingly.

12 trainings is some kind of average. 13 is slightly above average. 14 is very good. 15 is great. 16 is mega great... 18 is a miracle

Extremly bad evolution of my climbers in March...
Pyotr took only 3 mountain at 23 YO
Orlando only 2 mountain at 24 YO
Ambrogio only one mountain point at 26 YO.

Concluding there is somebody here involved and not willing me to have again a 89 climber...

And don't forget, you're wiretapped most probably.

Even if the Liaquigas-CND team goal was never to win classics, this month was ok and may represent a turning point for priorities of the Greatest team and Greatest manager starting with next year.

Important changes in May and after the Giro for Team Liquigas-CND:

1st of May '17 we' decided to buy a colombian classic:
Hector Rivera: 56-71-65-53-60 , 37 Reg --> starting his 23 yo with 64-78

27th of May '17 we sold Martin Petkov, Wouter Mathijssen and Krasimir Tonev

29th of May '17 we sold the Amstel'17 winner - Sven Torstensson

On the 1st of June, Branislav Karadzic (Serbian) joined the team with the following starting skills: 46-72-78-49-49 50 Reg

On the 1st of July, Adrien Futterman (USA) joined the team with the following starting skills: 49-73-75-51-53 36 Reg.

Immediately after TDF 2017 the team manager decided to end the collaboration by mutual agreement with:
- Ambrogio Pugliese (Italian climber) 86-57-71-48-47 56 reg, 30 yo, winner of the Tour de Sud.
- Ivan Escobar (Colombian classic) 72-81-61-50-55 57 reg,30 yo national champion of Colombia in 2016.
We wish them all the best and hopefully they find another team.
