93. 00:02:10 Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia)
118. 00:03:49 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)

A very strange race. There was a big lead group with Sopoanga and Talake in it, but when it seemed we had a good chance, suddenly half the group stopped working and attacked one by one. Because of this strange tactics, the group was brought back and a large group had some sort of mass sprint.

An interesting race where Teikauea and Kahausibware were in the lead group together. Halfway, things turned awkward as a cheater, Tourmalet, made his team attack. The lead group made a lot of tempo to make sure he couldn't reacht he group without a fight. After a while, Tourmalet was suddenly out and an group with Kahausibware (half the lead group) was 3 minutes away. They made it over the hills, but were joined by later attackers and by the first part of the peloton. In the last km, two riders managed to escape and a group of just under 40 riders sprinted for place 3.

42. 00:00:00 Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)
122. 00:05:39 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)

A mass sprint, but after a tough finale. There was a group with Kahausibware that didn't get a lot of room because of Kahausibware. Another group got some room, but we closed the gap easily. In the end, some classic riders went. Rongomatane was in the wheel of one that didn't try to attack and Dakuwanga didn't get the wheel he wanted and was 9th. But I got some money and points.

A mass sprint. Teikauea was in an early group, but was not allowed in there in the peloton, so I didn't do a lot before the finish. Dakuwanga got one of the right wheels and got 4th, as expected honestly.

Hmm. I bought Portal 2 on Steam and wanted to play that for half an hour before lunch... It's 21:27 now and I finished the game... Good game. I forgot all of the rest, including RSF and dinner...

Eneco Tour
After visiting it in my hometown today, I decided that I was going to win that one too.

Team
31. Foukimoana Rongomatane (TUV)
32. Matua Ahuatanga (TUV)
33. Iti Dakuwanga (TUV)
34. Pekahau Haumiatiketike (TUV)
35. Naingimea Itimaroroa (TUV)
36. Rahi Kahausibware (TUV)
37. Malietoa Malielegaoi (TUV)
38. Toakai Sopoanga (TUV)
39. Fakatoafe Teikauea (TUV)

This race sees the debute of Matua Ahuatanga (23). This time triallist will be fighting for victory, but not today, as there is a 92 time trialist around. Ahuatanga replaces Hiralal, the last foreigner. Now the entire team is Tuvaluan.

18. 00:00:48 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)
36. 00:01:07 Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)
42. 00:01:09 Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)
66. 00:01:16 Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia)
74. 00:01:17 Pekahau Haumiatiketike (Team Lidwinia)
81. 00:01:18 Iti Dakuwanga (Team Lidwinia)
99. 00:01:22 Malietoa Malielegaoi (Team Lidwinia)
A decent ride. Because Howlett is in green, Ahuatanga will wear the best youngster jersey. Rongomatane kept his loss below 30 seconds on Arango.

01. 00:00:00 Thomas Dice (Pro-Belgium)
02. 00:00:00 Nuurii Sahrini (French Cyclism)

68. 00:00:00 Foukimoana Rongomatane (Team Lidwinia)
74. 00:00:00 Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)
107. 00:00:00 Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)
114. 00:00:00 Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia)
151. 00:00:00 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)

A plain mass sprint. Dakuwanga had the right wheel, but didn't manage to get past him, but I'm satisfied with the results. Rahi Kahausibware was in the lead group with only 2 others, so it was helpless to start, especially as they didn't get more than 8 minutes. He did get some prize money on the way. No changes in the classement.

72. 00:00:00 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)
113. 00:00:00 Malietoa Malielegaoi (Team Lidwinia)

Not exactly succesful... I had the wrong wheel together with the best sprinter, so he actually got the wheel and I was 13th. Nobody of Team Lidwinia was in a lead group.

3rd stage - Hilly race
01. 00:00:00 Esteban Viladou (French Cyclism)
02. 00:00:03 Foukimoana Rongomatane (Team Lidwinia)
03. 00:00:05 Ruben Arango (SchustersRappen)
04. 00:00:05 Smoking Joe (Dynamo Malta)
05. 00:00:14 Raul Juanito (SchustersRappen)
26. 00:00:30 Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)
30. 00:00:30 Matua Ahuatanga (Team Lidwinia)
32. 00:00:30 Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia)
116. 00:11:57 Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)
139. 00:11:57 Iti Dakuwanga (Team Lidwinia)
144. 00:11:57 Pekahau Haumiatiketike (Team Lidwinia)
146. 00:11:57 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)
152. 00:36:13 Malietoa Malielegaoi (Team Lidwinia)

Very very close to a nice victory. Two Lidwinia riders were in the lead group: Sopoanga and Teikauea. They planned to tire the leader's team out, but he got help from a team whose best rider was 24th today. When Foukimoana replied to an attack by main GC challenger Arango and got two other companions, the field broke apart and the Teikauea group was caught back. With two km's to go, Rongomatane, by far the best descender in the lead group, attacked at a -6% part, but he was caught back by Viladou in the final flat km. Pity, but it was fun and now Rongomatane and Ahuatanga are both in the top-10, which is great for Ahuatanga. Tomorrow another time trial.

4th stage - Time trial
01. 00:00:00 Thomas Dekker (Team Europa)
02. 00:00:11 Grant Howlett (Racerfriends)
03. 00:00:38 Chris Unger (PK Racing Team)
04. 00:00:40 Matua Ahuatanga (Team Lidwinia)
05. 00:00:42 Marc Arnold (rv-hamburg)
13. 00:01:35 Foukimoana Rongomatane (Team Lidwinia)
14. 00:01:41 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)
122. 00:03:46 Pekahau Haumiatiketike (Team Lidwinia)
131. 00:03:49 Iti Dakuwanga (Team Lidwinia)
141. 00:03:56 Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)
149. 00:04:13 Malietoa Malielegaoi (Team Lidwinia)
152. 00:04:28 Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)
161. 00:05:12 Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia)

The expected good result. Ahuatanga finished just behind the two stars of this game and both Rongomatane and Itimaroroa rode well to have three riders in the top-15. The rest of the team took a day off to recover from the work of earlier days. Two riders in the top-10 still. 4th for Ahuatanga and 8th for Rongomatane.

5th stage - fairly flat
01. 00:00:00 Eric Hoffmann (Trek Leopard)
02. 00:00:00 Ding Junhui (Team Fuchser)
03. 00:00:00 EIns Eins (kreischegeister)
04. 00:00:00 Roland Ries (team burton)
05. 00:00:00 Marcel Schmidt (PK Racing Team)
21. 00:00:00 Foukimoana Rongomatane (Team Lidwinia)
24. 00:00:00 Matua Ahuatanga (Team Lidwinia)
44. 00:00:00 Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)
129. 00:04:12 Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia)
130. 00:04:12 Malietoa Malielegaoi (Team Lidwinia)
142. 00:04:12 Pekahau Haumiatiketike (Team Lidwinia)
144. 00:22:19 Iti Dakuwanga (Team Lidwinia)
145. 00:22:19 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)
147. 00:22:19 Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)

Not-so-great result here. This race was almost flat, but one cobbled section and one 6% section brought almost my entire team to the knees. In the end, I only had three riders (including the GC guys) to do business. And they hardly did. A day to forget. But I did make a little money... No major changes is the classement.

6th stage - half peloton sprint
01. 00:00:00 Ding Junhui (Team Fuchser)
02. 00:00:00 Nuurii Sahrini (French Cyclism)
03. 00:00:00 Thomas Dice (Pro-Belgium)
04. 00:00:00 Mirko Smith (Milram pir)
05. 00:00:00 Eric Hoffmann (Trek Leopard)
15. 00:00:00 Iti Dakuwanga (Team Lidwinia)
22. 00:00:00 Matua Ahuatanga (Team Lidwinia)
40. 00:00:00 Foukimoana Rongomatane (Team Lidwinia)
88. 00:00:00 Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)
103. 00:00:00 Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)
105. 00:00:00 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)
130. 00:11:46 Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia)
143. 00:11:46 Malietoa Malielegaoi (Team Lidwinia)
150. 00:11:46 Pekahau Haumiatiketike (Team Lidwinia)

The end of the stage race that was utterly dominated by two time triallists. Ahuatanga and Rongomatane didn't change places and Dakuwanga got the wrong wheel again. Decent result with two in the top-10 and third in the team rankings.

57. 00:09:33 Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)
DNF. Pekahau Haumiatiketike (Team Lidwinia)
DNF. Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)
DNF. Malietoa Malielegaoi (Team Lidwinia)

Sopoanga in the top-10 of an uphill finish? He was in the early group, looking for money to gain. The peloton got smaller and smaller all the time and in the end all exploded. 69 riders finished. Decent results.

DNF. Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)
DNF. Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia))
DNF. Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)

This was the last race before the Vuelta and I almost decided the team. Rongomatane and Talake were in the lead group. Rongomatana used a cat 1 climb to test his condition which was fine. After that, he dropped to the peloton and finished the race while Talake tried to go for victory. His group was caught back about 5 km to the finish and Haumiatiketike had a chance for himself. 14th is decent. The DNF's were supporting Sopoanga who was tired after yesterday.

Results - Mass sprint
01. 00:00:00 Finn Saijonmaa (francais)
02. 00:00:00 Iti Dakuwanga (Team Lidwinia)
03. 00:00:00 Thorsten Silvetta (Blaue Quellen)
04. 00:00:00 Harijs Slegelmilhs (Rhino Cycling)
05. 00:00:00 Andrejus Zadneprovskis (chaingang)
30. 00:00:00 Toakai Sopoanga (Team Lidwinia)
31. 00:00:00 Pekahau Haumiatiketike (Team Lidwinia)
42. 00:00:00 Naingimea Itimaroroa (Team Lidwinia)
53. 00:00:00 Malietoa Malielegaoi (Team Lidwinia)
54. 00:00:00 Fakatoafe Teikauea (Team Lidwinia)
56. 00:00:00 Matua Ahuatanga (Team Lidwinia)
75. 00:00:00 Rahi Kahausibware (Team Lidwinia)

Very close in a race where the first 200 km were kind of wasted. One rider escaped, took 14 minutes and was brought back. Haumiatiketike did a perfect leadout for Dakuwanga and Iti was close.
