This was the best stage of the Giro for sure. A very hard race with heavy rain, downhill selections and the big attack for the Top 3 by Astana at the Mortirolo, Ben was in the right wheel and so was able to follow this group of the favorites for the GC, like the two Columbians Palacio Montoya and Escobar. A lot of riders which were in front of him in the GC didn't get into this group and lost a lot of time on the way up to the Mortirolo. Ben was 9th before this stage but after this he is now 5th in the GC with 3:22 behind Montoya. This saves the team's ass a little bit. Maybe Le Busquet has to be sold but the money will be enough to buy a good follower of him afterwards.
Today evening the team will be sitted by Team Bearclaw, who wants to try to win the stage. But it's more important now to defend our excellent GC position.
Up to now the team was able to reach not less than 8 Top 3 positions at the stages, but no win.

Cyclist of the Month (May)

The end of our first Grand Tour is also the end of this month for the team.

So we have to honor the cyclist of the month. The only palmares entry was the white jersey from Ben Gourgue. With the 5th place in the GC he showed a fantastic Giro and is so the well deserved best rider of this month. Other candidates don't exist this time.

Transfer news:

Jerome Le Busquet had to leave the team because of financial problems caused by the Giro participation. The money will be reinvested in a cheap flat helper in the next weeks.

Transfer news

Today the team reacted in case of the high salary of the team in sprint stages. For about 1,1 million we bought a 24 years old mexican rider. His main skills are flat and time trial. With only 38 regeneration and a mountain skill he is only a guy for one day races and flat tours. But maybe he will start in France next week to win the big time trial at the Dauphine.

Now the team is again able to participate at races with paying no salary.

Rio Blanco - San Felipe
Perre made the shot

The short regeneration camp in South America used the team to relax from the hard Giro time in May. Yesterday they participated in a little show race in Chili. At the beginning Luiz Foguete tried to create a group which was caught immediately after that. Then the race became very boring without any attacks out of the peloton. About 100 km before the finish line the team then created the deciding attack by Adriano Perreira and Luiz Foguete. Only Rajan Nandju from L RSV followed. The teams behind didn't react very fast so that Perreira was able to get a lead of about 4 minutes with only 50 kms to go. When Luiz Foguete then took the control in the group they were nearly unreachable for the chasing teams in the peloton. L RSV was off and told us that he had to go so he won't sprint at the end. This were good news so that Luiz could easily make tempo without looking on Nandju. At the end the group saved 38 seconds and Adriano Perreira was the one who got the permission to get his first victory with a short sprint. Luiz who already won one race in his career gave the 2. place to Nandju and became 3rd at the end. 38 seconds behind Ignacio Castillo, Guilherme Callado and Diego del Rios sprinted to the places 7,9 and 13. After nearly 2 months without a stage win the team is back.

Today evening the team will start in France for the Dauphine. Ben Gourgue likes to have a stage and our both classic riders want that as well. So the aim is to win at least one stage in these 8 days.
The salary will be about 425k which will hopefully lead us to a good financial result at the end.

Dauphine - stage 1-3
Jorge in green, Ignacio steals the red one

After 3 days in France it's time to start a little review.

It all started with the short prologue in Evian les Bains where the team was without a chance like every time in a TT.

The day after that Jorge Felicandes was sent out to catch the green jersey for the best climber. At the end he was successfull after a big fight with Daniel Matthew. The end of the stage was won by TeamTom. Ignacio Castillo became 7. and Ben Gourgue got the 10th place.

Today it was again Jorge, with Edson Barroso as his helper, in the attacking group. Again it was Daniel Matthew in his wheel. After a hard fight Jorge defended his lead by 10 points but he missed to get more when he failed in getting the 2 cat. mountain price. At the end Ignacio Castillo nearly won the sprint out of a big group, but he became only 3rd in GC. With this points and 9 seconds in front of Ang Wang he gained the red jersey for the best sprinter.

Money rules and rules at the moment. The team is able to collect some money for a new classic leader for classic races. Hopefully it's possible to buy him in July.

For the moment the team has a win of about 87 k and the green jersey is saved for the following 1 or maybe 2 days. The sprint jersey will be defended as well tomorrow.

La Dauphine
Once again, Jorge!

Jorge Felicandes did it again, he won his second mountain jersey with reaching 1 point more than his big rival Pieter van Kemseke.

One day before he had to give the jersey away to this guy from francais, but the last day of this tour then was his big chance to attack him and win the jersey. At the end 2 2. places in mountain sprints were enough to win it. This was the first goal of this tour which was successfully fullfilled yesterday by our sitter Gaurain(thx a lot).
The second goal was a stage victory by Benjamin Gourgue or Castillo, both failed! Both were somehow near to a stage win but every time there were some better and the manager did some unlucky moves in deciding moments. So at the end you have to say that the tour was financially good but the sportive goals wasn't reached completely.

The team now thinks about a start at one of these little 3-5 day tours which will start in the following days. La Route du Sud, Elektrotoer or Tour de Slovenjia have all some interesting stages for our team. But maybe the football WC will end up all starting ambitions for the next weeks.

Financial profit(Dauphine): +376.380 €

Salary: 425.515 € (50.515 € per day)

Route du Sud - stage 1
Guilhe is there!!

Today the team decided to start in France for the 3 days tour Route du Sud with a very expensive team. The salary is about 460 k and the aims are clear. Ben Gourgue wants to be in the Top 3 at the end of this tour. Casagrande (envia) will be the winner if nothing extraordinary happens. Our second goal was the win of the sprint jersey inclusive at least 1 stage.

This stage won Guilherme Callado today after a great teamwork and good help by Thurau and envia. This is the first stage win in his young career with now 23 years. We hope that he can win some more stages and that he can make Leandro forgotten somehow. With this win he will start tomorrow in he yellow jersey.

Tomorrow there will be 2 stages, a 80 km short stage with a little climb a few kms before the end and a short time trial which will lead the riders up on the top of a mountain in Peyragudes. This should be the decision of the GC tomorrow.

Route du Sud- stage 2 & 3
one,two and ??

The second stage and the first of two today was again a clear thing for Guilhe Callado who easily got his victory with a sprint out of a little group.

The second stage was a short time trial with a 8 km climb. Ben Gourgue reached the finish line with the 4th best time. 13 seconds missing for the Top 3.

After the training today the team reacted and sold Rafael Bahamontes because of a bad training performance. New in team will be Felipe Garrido Image , a young spanish guy from the border to Andorra. He is Basque and he will be the next helper of Guilhe Callado. His skills 54-73-76-57-52 are good enough and his reg 49 combined with his good tt skill is a good investion for the Vuelta starting line-up. His training goal will be to become a 65-85.

Route du Sud - stage 3
The third strike in a row

Today it was the hardest stage for Guilherme Callado to win. Very mountainous and the helpers were not fit because of the last 2 days but nobody really tried to make some trouble in this field. So at the end Ben Gourgue tried again to sieb the sprinter of Thurau but again he failed so that the sprint was somehow thrilling. In the end it was again a victory for Guilhe. With his 3rd stage win he also won the green jersey. Ben Gourgue ended this tour with a good 4th place in GC!
All in all the team was very successfull but the field was too bad to really feel good about this success.

Financially the team needed this tour soo much.
A win of 620.647 € is more than good for a 3-day-tour with 4 stages at all.

Then there was the downhill training from Ben, i started to become a little bit sad.
But then this training starts to become very good, del Rios! Perreira! and the best at the end... Gourgue!!!

National Championships
First titles in history

Our first NC was in Belgium where Benjamin Gourgue had no chance and gave up the race very early.

Brazil Image
The second one was the most important one. Brazil! Strong competitors like Alkworld, Strohhutbande and MSport, and everybody of them online.
An early attack was made by Edson Barroso and Diego del Rios, Jose Bonifacio from Alk was the only one who followed. MSport took the control in the peloton but he gave too much time to this group. Never expected to decide the race out of this group. Diego del Rios had form 100 and at the end he was able to win the sprint against Bonifacio witha gap of nearly a half wheel. Our first and most important championship.

Spain Image
Our 3rd and last championship was Spain and we never expected to have a big chance against teams like Cerro or Astana, but both were not online and so the group with Jorge Felicandes and Ignacio Castillo decided the race. Even a "unfair" attack by the team of Montages who said that he leaves and then attacked had no success for the others. At the end Ignacio Castillo easily won the sprint and took our second championship.

Financially we made a profit of 200k.

500. race for Gala

Party Party!!

Yesterday we had our 500th race! 500 races of fun, sometimes of course a little less fun and much more aggressions but all in all a beautiful time. I had several times where i was short before leaving this game but i can't. I love it to much. Thank you Buhmann and all the others who make this game so special and soo good. The best game i ever played and the best after-work-relaxing possibility!!

500 races and 53 stages, so i'm completely in the plan which was and still is to have a win quote of about 1 win out of 10 races.

Looking forward for the next 500 races...

Finally we got it. Our first stage in a GT. Diego completely focused on this stage and his form was perfect today. After the pave he was 2 seconds behind a strong Kwiste but then he came back and outsprinted him at the end with a half wheel gap. The fight for seconds in the GC behind them was not so good like the team hoped. Ben Gourgue was the best climber and ended his race with a strong 14th place but he only won 1:19 to the big favorites like Heal World or Leonhard Euler. Peter Botha was able to stay in Bens group as the only climber. Maybe a good form?
