May finale with stage win

After a very strong first stage at Giro della Campania where Zachary Soneau made an awesome mountain finish behind Wilco Westermans' first-finishing group today he won the 2nd stage before Gerardo Colana (L RSV) and his teammate Arno Wollfinger (3rd). We are hoping to have chances for a jersey and maybe even a podest in the general.

I was seeing you're in reach, very lucky for me with 2-3 unexpected stages this month. Also L RSV in my tour had 99 wins today, he was the other one who couldve taken the 100 (and probably will during the tour  )

Soneau takes Yellow, Green and 2nd stage

Zachary Soneau was today able to cooperate with tour favourite Väinö Loipinen and takes the 3rd stage of Campania from a late escape against all other favourites. He needs a few more points to get the points classement and is on a good way to finish top 5 in general.

If he trains like my African Smiley, all the credits spent and the almost perfect values are just worthless... :P

Triple in Italy

Zachary Soneau was able to also win the last stage of Giro della Campania on the 244km long course through Napoli. Against Thomas Brathwaite (AlmavivaItalia) and Gerardo Colana (L RSV) he won the sprint in the deciding late group to not only safe his 3rd overall but also the points' classement. What a great tour, and after throwing huge piles at money on the transfer market we are back with 1mio credits left on the bank account already

Arno wins first classic stage at Tour de Suisse

After an easily taken prologue and the first mountain finale, today we were going for the first classic stage at Tour de Suisse. Soneau our man for the win, both Arno and him in the deciding group, but Arno with the right hand for a good wheel. He takes stage and points classement until tomorrow.

Quick-Step is our hero! <3

Today Quick was sitting our team and with heavy rain it looked bad for Soneau. I assumed it's gotta be better in the finale, on the last screen I see light rain and with better conditions I assume Quick didn't have problems to bring Soneau's victory home on a stage that is perfectly made for him. He also wins the points' classement for us, Zachary's 3rd overall and with that he is the most successful points classement winner in our team. With his 6th stage win he equalizes with team rival Arno Wollfinger. A great tour ends for us, we hope to keep up the work! And of course, huge thanks to the best sitter in the world (who has made up now for forgetting to put in a sprint on 2nd Giro stage with Tom van Amstel  )

Arno brings hope after weak tour

Allthough Wilco Westermans did a great job in the many escapes during Tour de Beauce, he missed the green jersey by 4 points he would've gotten on the last intermediate sprint he missed today. Arno Wollfinger though, pulled up by the cookie-duo, was able to win against Muriel and Fibonacci (both Kekse) from the late escape and earns his 7th stage win.

Soneau wins 8th stage aswell

At the Tour de France on a rainy day Soneau feared to be dropped in the downhill, it just happened like that. A GC-stage-cooperation between him and ELITE TEAM's German Pique and Xavi Ximenez was then able to get back and attack against the other GC teams. Soneau hardly wins the sprint then.

Ettore retires

Ettore Bastianini, time trial proof helper for our team, was sold today. As a pure helper he rarely got chances to show his escaping potential but he was a big help for team time trials, where he always made the pace for the team. The good work of italian riders in the team has made Adam Wollfinger interested to search for more italian talents. Maybe the Wizards will get a new star from there, we will see! For so long, goodbye Ettore Bastianini, thanks for much work for our team!

Triple!

Today's Classica San Sebastian prooved to be Lizard-territory. For the 3rd year in a row the team was able to win this important race and we are more than proud of team captain Zachary Soneau for this great comeback after the defeat for green at the Tour against Stalteri (BSE Marzahn). Strike!

3rd try at Vuelta, finally Gerard wins his first sprint!

After a rather boring stage because we need to keep more energy for the squad and had to ride early, the sieb occured at the final 6% chance to give Gerard an attempt for stage alone. We hold back the others, keep everyone in our group and Donderboom (Rake Racing) pulls of Gerard to his first professional victory. Hats off!

Glazemaker, the monster of sprints!

Today Gerard Glazemaker has won in an insanely strong sprint to achieve his 2nd victory at the Vuelta a Espana. With two sprinters online Pakke Adlung had to pull off Glazemaker in case his first wheel didn't go early enough. With the strong Nico Lorenzoni (Equipo Kas) in his wheel and an early sprint by Taylor Made Fairway (Team ABC-Polsat) he could still go faster than both. We hope to win yet some more stages, with wins it's just more motivating! Also, this victory helps us to survive another month in the first Division ready to ride the Giro di Lombardia next month!

Gerard wins 3 out of 4

Yesterday at the Vuelta Gerard Glazemaker again showed he is the Hushovd of this Vuelta. The other sprinters couldn't keep the pace of Zachary Soneau at the final hill, Gerard stayed in the group. Adlung pulls off the last kilometres to make another easy win for Glazemaker. Awesome!
