Pape Diouff to retire
After several disappointing results, veteran rider Pape Diouf (34) has decided to end his career today.
He used to be a 59-81-69 helper, the team is very grateful for all the hard work he did. But now we have to move on and to hire some young valley helper. Our scouts did tell us about a cool and talented italian guy, named Bernardo Provenzano. We wish him a warm welcome and we count on his work and fighting spirit whenever our leaders need it.

Peter Keko's sudden departure
The less famous of the Keko brother's became suddenly upset and yelled at the manager : "You are an idiot, you're not even able to manage the team well enough so my brother ends in the top 30 on a hilly race ! That's bloody incredible."
These words were his last with the NoPikouze jersey, as the direction fired him immediatly.
As a replacement, the manager hired the american Oliver Queen. Nice rider who will increase the teams strength in little hills. We hope this satisfies Peter's desires.

The financial director of NiPikouze seems to have some concerns about these transfers though. People report that he was mumbling something like "Grmbl, 415k salary for our team is just too much, we are not sponsored by a swiss bank... "

Actual skill........... 58-74-72-76-57

Young flat rider, good downhill, low wage, he will become a great teammate for sure

But I have just spend half of my fortune to replace a helper, not sure if this was a great decision, time will tell... :?

Les "4" Jours de dunkerque

Objectives
- Win a stage
- Top 5 GC

Stage 1
Image

Rankings
01. 00:00:00 Nate Imbruglia (Skullz)
02. 00:00:00 Robert Huntter (ChartreuseCycle)
03. 00:00:00 Pavel Krystewek (ScuderiaTorro)
04. 00:00:00 Scott Johansson (Skullz)
05. 00:00:00 Jesus Chacarero (AnticapitalistA)
|
13. 00:00:00 Allan Taylor (NoPikouze)
14. 00:00:00 Hans Lasinger (NoPikouze)

A bad sprint by myself but a good day, Silvio Bolognese was able to escape and get a couple of seconds, he stands at the 3rd place of GC for now :D

Stage 2
Image

Rankings
01. 00:00:00 Adam Yauch (tmavaux)
02. 00:00:00 Pavel Krystewek (ScuderiaTorro)
03. 00:00:00 Aleksandar Kolev (FA Velodromes)
04. 00:00:00 Patrick Fölser (Team Habaras)
05. 00:00:00 Jesus Chacarero (AnticapitalistA)
|
13. 00:00:00 Hans Lasinger (NoPikouze)
17. 00:00:00 Allan Taylor (NoPikouze)

Not a great sprint neither...

Stage 3
Image

Rankings
01. 00:00:00 Scott Johansson (Skullz)
02. 00:00:00 Gregor Bauer (Team Habaras)
03. 00:00:00 Arnold Schlommert (Claw - CVIII)
04. 00:00:00 Hans Lasinger (NoPikouze)
05. 00:00:00 Allan Taylor (NoPikouze)

Interesting stage but not very selective (mountain+cobblestone gives bad climber the possibility to stay in front with high pavéskill...)

Stage 4
Image

Rankings
01. 00:00:00 James Greaves (Skullz)
02. 00:00:02 Alvaro Suarez (HeidfeldFanclub)
03. 00:00:09 Allan Taylor (NoPikouze)
04. 00:00:09 Rik VanSteenberg (Claw - CVIII)
05. 00:00:12 Esteban Campos (AnticapitalistA)
06. 00:00:17 Roko Keko (NoPikouze)

The only GC stage of the tour... Tried to attack with Roko at 6 kms but a 85 came in tempo in the last 5 seconds... And then Roko was too tired to follow Greaves! Anyway, not too bad result.

Stage 5
Image

Rankings
01. 00:00:00 Fernanda Alonso (HeidfeldFanclub)
02. 00:00:00 Torben Lundgaard (Claw - CVIII)
03. 00:00:00 Memphis Monroe (HeidfeldFanclub)
04. 00:00:00 Silvio Bolognese (NoPikouze)
05. 00:03:42 Aleksandar Kolev (FA Velodromes)
|
11. 00:03:42 Allan Taylor (NoPikouze)
12. 00:03:42 Hans Lasinger (NoPikouze)

Not a lot of sprinters online. Some time given by Skullz. We made it to the finish line but Silvio is just not strong enough.

General Classification :

01. 00:00:00 James Greaves (Skullz)
02. 00:00:07 Alvaro Suarez (HeidfeldFanclub)
03. 00:00:16 Allan Taylor (NoPikouze)
04. 00:00:19 Rik VanSteenberg (Claw - CVIII)
05. 00:00:22 Esteban Campos (AnticapitalistA)
06. 00:00:27 Roko Keko (NoPikouze)

Nice little tour with Heidfeld, Claw and Skullz, but 4 sprinter stages when I hoped it were only 2 and a half... 2 good breakaways from Silvio, he showed the team's colors. Very good. And a 3rd place for Allan, good start in the team.

Image Transfer news

Image Aija Inese 48-60-62-49-92 (28 years)

Team Nopikouze finally hired a leader for flat stages ! The latvian sprinter Inese has signed a contract for 2 seasons with an option for more if the results are good. With only 33 races at the age of 28, the lack of experience of the former U23 latvian champion might have scared some potential teams. But the Nopikouze manager says he isnt afraid at all by this, since Aija's potential is very good in the mass sprints, especially when you see the lust of revenge in the eyes of this latvian warrior.

Tour of California (9h)

Objectives
- Win at least a stage with Hans
- Podium for Seong
- Maybe sprintersjersey possible for Hans (dunno which color it is now! )

Stage 1
Image

Rankings
01. 00:00:00 Diego Barboza (pontepiscopiens)
02. 00:00:00 Hans Lasinger (NoPikouze)
03. 00:00:00 Joaquin Messi (STARFORCE)
04. 00:00:00 Henrik Kielland (Allrad)
05. 00:00:00 Makoto Togugawa (Samurais)

6 Active teams on 11, not much happening.
Good control of the peloton in the end, Hans takes a decent wheel at 500, but he looses vs Barboza who follows Messi at 450... Hmm maybe my wheel wasnt good enough, or they have a great form... Quite annoying but ok...
For GC, Allrad brings a 580k team, and Starforce with Messi will be a very tough challenger too...

Tour of California (9h)

Stage 2
Image

Rankings
01. 00:00:00 Max Fläming (rc flyaway)
02. 00:00:00 Jakko Niiemi (Samurais)
03. 00:00:00 Stjen DeWolder (Samurais)
04. 00:00:21 Joaquin Messi (STARFORCE)
05. 00:00:21 Lilian Rastoil (pontepiscopiens)
|
22. 00:00:21 Allan Taylor (NoPikouze)
|
25. 00:00:47 Hans Lasinger (NoPikouze)
27. 00:00:47 Seong Hangeul (NoPikouze)
28. 00:00:47 Roko Keko (NoPikouze)
30. 00:00:47 Bernardo Provenzano (NoPikouze)

SERIOUSLY ONE OF MY WORST RSF DAYS EVER
Working a lot with Pontepiscopiens and Starforce to get a sprint... Putting everything in for the sprint, using Seong as a helper... And then he get siebed in the last small hill !!! Not strong enough to bring him back, especially with the others GC teams riding to prevent it...
Fucking bad day for me... Losing any chances to win yellow or green jersey (yes Lars was siebed too)...

Admit that you prefer the Gaurain's team to play
Seriously, bad days are not good, but it happens to everybody ... :(
Tomorrow will be better. And now, you can see one advantage : you're an outsider, that let you some new opportunities ;)

"Tomorrow" wasnt much better
Bernardo did great in the escape, he had nearly 500 energy before the last climb ! But then I forgot to put FIGHT back to YES and he got siebed... I'm an idiot, I wont ride in the mornings anymore! :|
Well ok the escape couldn't reach the finish line, but still stupid. Hmm, after all he does a decent sprint.
In the GC, losing time again, but for once not my fault :D Riding as hard as possible, but simply not good enough

Do these mistakes while you drew this race, it's a bit insane

Finally a good day !! :D
No mistakes, making tempo when needed, taking the right wheel... Cool! Not much else to say, but if the race had been tougher, maybe I would not be able to make it
