Cool team from the Andes, information coming soon as we are waiting for our riders parents to pay their monthly fees to have their kids on the team... (We are a year late this was supposed to be made after the rebrand, sorry guys)

So for the team to work we have a few rules....

The rules of the Alpacas
  • Our riders from Peru must be named after some famous chefs to celebrate Peruvian cuisine being #3 on TasteAtlas or a sometimes we can find a Luna in the wild.
  • Our riders from Colombia and Argentina must be named after some Latin American music artists to bring us some nice vibes.
  • Our riders from Bolivia must have matching initials on their first and last names.
  • Our riders from Venezuela must be named after some famous athlete to bring us some talent.
  • Our riders from Ecuador must be named after some volleyball players (Thanks TDM, I miss you). Hopefully they can ride a bike.
  • Rider gender is decided based on the purchase month
Disclaimer:
  • Parents must sponsor their kids activities in the race and we are not responsible for their death or any harm that may occur

The January update:

Well, the year has started and we have been promoted to Division One again. It's been a pretty good month financially, with some good results.

Monthly Highlights:
  • 1x Youth Jersey Guiomar Gutierrez
  • 3x Stage wins Juan Arias
  • 1x SprintJersey Juan Arias
  • 3x Stage wins Salomón Hoyos
  • 1x Sprint Jersey Salomón Hoyos
The One Who Debuts:
This month, we welcomed a new sprinter to the group: Camilo Villarruel, who took a break from his rap career to join the team. Despite being lazy in training, he has shown signs of greatness, already finishing two sprints on the podium. Let's see what the future holds for him.

The Purchased One:
Pia León is the famous chef who has joined the team! It's a pretty nice purchase at 95% value (we love those here). The goal is for her to become a reliable classic with a strong enough flat stat to support the other team members.

The February update:

It was a pretty slow month. We finished under our financial target of 2m, breaking our three-month streak of 2m+ profit (we made around 1.792m). There are a lot of mixed feelings regarding training as well, but at least some of the guys are training well!

Monthly Highlights:
  • 1x Stage win Carolina Navarro
  • 2x Stage wins Guiomar Gutierrez (NC Bolivia)
  • 1x Stage win Jonathan Romero (NC Ecuador)
  • 3x Stage wins Salomón Hoyos (NC Colombia)
  • 1x Youth Jersey Yulimar Rojas
  • 1x TeamClassification
The One Who Debuts:
Pia León made her debut this month. She lowered our salary average and kept the tempo up when needed. Training is going well so far. Let's see if she develops into a reliable classic.

The Purchased One:
Well, they say that a good husband always supports his wife. So, Virgilio Martínez has decided to come and help Pia with cycling. His goal is to balance our salaries and provide support for his loved one and the rest of the team.

The March update:

Seems like our riders parents made some cuts on the budgets. We finished under our financial target of 2m again! (we made around 1.708m). Training wasn't bad, we won some WT stages so we are happy.
Monthly Highlights:
  • 2x Stage win Gonzalo Conde
  • 1x Stage wins Guiomar Gutierrez
  • 1x Stage win Juan Arias
  • 2x Stage wins Salomón Hoyos
  • 1x Stage race win Salomón Hoyos
  • 1x Sprint Jersey win Salomón Hoyos
The One Who Debuts:
Virgilio Martínez made his debut this month. He's doing solid work as a helper. Training is going well so far. Let's see if he develops into a reliable guy.

The Purchased One:
The Kitchen Masters keep coming! We are pleased to introduce Teresa Izquierdo as our latest addition. The goal is for her to become a valuable team member who can one day replace Isabel Ripoll. Let's see how it goes — flat training has been a bit underwhelming this year.
