Victory # 45 for Cordero in a tailor-made race; the team controlled the whole distance and was able to hold the flatsprinters away after the last hill near Rouen; Lastras took over from Copado and delivered a perfect lead-out for Cordero in the end
Didn't I tell you a while ago that Cordero might beat Trueba's number of wins? ;) Still 10 to go, but looks very promising at the moment. Good luck!

@Alk: hmm, 10 more victories are not soo easy to get...but i will try my best...

U 23 World Championship
Team Franconia was chosen to be the manager of the italian U-23 squad. In the road-race there was no chance at all, so the teamchef was having some drinks for winning the time trial competition with Ciro Ditalia (Motorizzati). If Franconia would have had more trust in the legs of Vasco Rossi(Auxilium Torino) bella italia would have won gold and silver.

Cordoue Malaga

06. 00:00:29 Paulino Varela
27. 00:00:29 Cesc Carrasco
61. 00:00:29 Manuel Soldado
64. 00:00:29 Esteban Arconada
79. 00:00:29 Fernando Copado
92. 00:00:29 Sven Vandousselaere
2 more riders didn't finish the race

Dam'n it, really miscalculated; Varela won the sprint of the peloton, but the escapegroup got too much advantage by the sprinters, mainly led by Team Franconia; The classic guys tried to split the peloton at km 113/114 but the sprinters were able to come back; in the end 29 seconds were missing

Villach - Velden - Villach

04. 00:00:00 Javier Cordero
07. 00:00:00 Alex Rasmussen
30. 00:00:00 Manuel Soldado
44. 00:00:00 Iker Rico
48. 00:00:00 Fernando Copado
61. 00:00:00 Sven Vandousselaere
79. 00:00:00 Adriaen Radewijns
88. 00:03:02 Hernando Cortés

Missed the podium; short race in austria with only 4 escapers in the beginning; the peloton was led by Team Franconia, Liberty Seguros, EXOCDS and Les ours blancs; bunch sprint was never in danger due the tempo in the back; Javier Cordero took the wheel of Radomir Precic (EXOCDS) but was outsprinted by the winner Justus Waldner (Zeller Wichtel)

Spanish CN

01. 00:00:00 Cesc Carrasco
04. 00:00:16 Jesus Gallego
05. 00:02:00 Fernando Copado
189. 00:30:12 Jose Lastras
191. 00:30:12 Pedro Leon
193. 00:30:12 Esteban Arconada
194. 00:30:12 Hernando Cortés
195. 00:30:12 Iker Rico
196. 00:30:12 Pablo Sarabia
197. 00:30:12 Javier Cordero
198. 00:30:12 Manuel Soldado
199. 00:30:12 Paulino Varela

Cesc got the jersey once again;after watching the profile of the spanish NC at the end of march the leader was fix; the team controlled the whole race with 12 riders and roundabout 20 km before the finish Gallego und Copado attacked and one km later Carrasco was able to escape solo from the peloton too, some riders tried to follow but no chance this race; Gallego/Copado led a 6 man group to the last ascent where Carrasco left his former groupmembers alone and finally won the race with 16 seconds advantage

Starvopol Grand Prix

02. 00:00:00 Cesc Carrasco
36. 00:00:29 Fernando Copado
42. 00:00:29 Alex Rasmussen
55. 00:00:29 Jesus Gallego
72. 00:00:29 Jose Lastras
74. 00:00:29 Manuel Soldado
98. 00:21:54 Sven Vandousselaere
100. 00:21:54 Adriaen Radewijns

Alex Rasmussen was chosen as captain for the race in russia; the profile was tailormade for Cordero, but the team and his important helpers were not at 100% at the start, so he had one more rest day; Cesc Carrasco had the order to follow Gregoire Levasseur (lesossies) if the group of Rasmussen didn't succeed to come back; 2 KM before the finish the expected attack was launched and Cesc was able to follow, unfortunately he was beaten in the sprint and got only pos. 2

126. 00:18:05 Hernando Cortés
131. 00:18:05 Adriaen Radewijns

Easy downhill sprintrace; good cooperation with LibertySeguros, Elaska and EXOCDS;

Oetingen IWT

01. 00:00:00 Javier Cordero
03. 00:00:00 Cesc Carrasco

93. 00:16:14 Iker Rico
106. 00:27:14 Hernando Cortés
107. 00:27:14 Sven Vandousselaere

Tailormade race for Javier Cordero; after the last steep ascent all flatsprinters were gone and Fernando Copado hold the gap, furthermore he raised the gap; a really strange behavior of TUSFalke made us an easy race; Cordero with Victory # 46 and Cesc reached Pos3 and completed the podium behind Cordero and Tom Whity (Team GasGas)

Celebration day: Cogoleto-Genova 2011

01. 00:00:00 Kryvtjar Bakkerud

ET1 TDF 11 : Passage du Gois - Mont des Alouettes

01. 00:00:00 Javier Cordero
46. 00:00:00 Pablo Sarabia
48. 00:00:00 Markos Themistokles
63. 00:00:00 Fernando Copado
72. 00:00:00 Manuel Soldado
105. 00:01:04 Jesus Gallego
118. 00:01:06 Ramunas Navardauskas
131. 00:01:11 Adriaen Radewijns
134. 00:01:11 Iker Rico

First stage, first victory; brilliant start for the team at the Tour de France 2011; one lonely escaper and an escape attempt of Ingo Ubbel (Radler) was caught some km before the last ascent; Markos Themistokles was able to block all escapes at the last two KM and opened the sprint with 250 Meter to go, Pablo Sarabia did a great Lead-Out for Javier Cordero who crossed the line first and took over the yellow, the green and the red jersey for one day;

ET2 TDF 11 : TTT Les Essarts

89. 00:02:22 Javier Cordero
90. 00:02:22 Pablo Sarabia
91. 00:02:22 Markos Themistokles
92. 00:02:22 Jesus Gallego
93. 00:02:22 Adriaen Radewijns
94. 00:02:22 Fernando Copado
95. 00:02:22 Ramunas Navardauskas
96. 00:02:22 Manuel Soldado
126. 00:04:44 Iker Rico

2nd Stage the team time trial; as expected no chance for the team to get a good position or defending the leader-jersey; Skullz won the TTT and took over the yellow-jersey - for the team management he should be the team to wear it in Paris in the end; today the first real flatstage and a big sprint is expected, a new chance for Cordero is set

Adrian Radewijns and Maksim Maasikas caught by Police

The two riders of Team Franconia and Wizards Cycling are not famous for their good training. Now we found out why: After the Tour of Limousin Maasikas came back to Amsterdam where he met Franconia's dutch flat rider. After possibily alcohol or drugs (no official statement by the police) they were taken into prison for a day and had to pay a fine of 500€ each. If they were this enthusiastic about training they'd probably become great riders of their generation.
