Tax when selling riders

Hi, could you please explain why tax applicable is changing from day to day? What is affecting this variability?

the regular sales tax depends on the overall value of your team (value of riders + any cash you have), should be 10% at 20M and gradually goes up to 70% at 35M i believe
then there is also a tax on selling newly bought rider, starts at 50% and goes down 1% every day, so after 50 days in the team this tax no longer applies
