Do you think Danut Catana will increase more (he not increase mountain skill from 5.11.2012) or maybe i should sell him??

My dream is to have Heinz Lohr in my team (or something like that)

i've just posted this info in Italian part of the forum:

Kyle Brathwaite: Started 72-54-79

21yo: 3/4 (i risk with 98%, i failed)
22yo: 4/4
23to 1/4 (3 missed with 70%)
24Yo: 1/4 (3 missed with 45% or nearly)
25yo= 2/2 with 28 %

Bah

No, you're not an unlucky person. 85 at 26 is not unlucky. It's just pretty normal. My guess is that at this age the average climber that starts with 73 is at 85 or 86. Probably closer to 86, yes.
Sell him? Definetly not. Not only because 85 at 26 is not unlucky as I said but also because 1: You can have success with a 85 climber as well. 2: Your guy has 58 TT.. Even if he never trains another point in mountain (which indeed then would be unlucky) he still can play an important role in many many stage races.

Thanks roby. Its helpful. In time i made a lot of mistakes and i sell a lot of riders just because he failed 2 or 3 trainings:

- august i sell Constantin Dumitrescu at 25y with 78m73itt because he failed 3 trainings in row. (he just finished Le Tour 4th)
- december i sell Raymond Martin at 34y 87m just to buy Dan Anghelache 21y 73m 61 reg (ok that maybe is not a mistake  )
- december i sell Valentin Constantinescu at 27y 68m 77flat
- january i sell Florin Privache at 25y 69m 77flat just to buy Mark Pfennig 74m80flat77itt
- january i sell Anton Stelian at 25y 66m 80flat 64reg just to buy Iker Ibarra 33y 75m 77flat

I think at that time i rushed when i sell those riders and i dont want to do another mistake now with Danut Catana. I will be more patient with my youngsters from now.

1. Click on a profile of the race. The new window will pop-up. Switch to "info" tab. There you have all info about points. Worth to mention that different cat. races has defferent points.
2. To be promoted to div.6 you need to get 1500 points.

Hi all,

I've sold a rider yesterday and should get his value -10% and actually got 230k less. Now I looked at another rider I have which is valued at 3.4 million and has been with me quite some time. But I'd I wanna sell him it says I lose 10% but can only sell him for 2.2million. Can someone explain if this is a big or just a new transfer rule and explain to me how it works?

Thanks!

I guess the rider is Alec Hardison

How did you buy him? I guess from the normal transfer market and way cheaper than the market value. Because the selling price is calculated with the price he was bought at in this case. And as you bought him for around 2,4 Mio. credits, you will only get this amout -10%.

That's my explanation...

It's Alec and he's a youth rider of mine. I paid full price then and trained him all myself, so why can't I get the market price -10%for him.

The other one was Jape Thays and he v was also bought full price at age 20

Youth rider = bought from the yout transfer market?

Then I guess he's just not in your team long enough to bring in the full transfer money. Unfortunately it's not stated in the guidelines, but I think it's 50 days for a youth rider? Maybe somebody can second that or correct me...

Thays was one day before 25 and I still didn't get the actual value -10% I used to get the actual value -10% but not anymore. ..

Maybe your team is worth more in August. Just check out what the current "tax" is you're paying when selling a rider. You find it on the bottom left side when you click on the transfermarket menu.

But as said, in the case fo Alec, I think it's the number of days he's in your team that has not yet reached the "full" number. I think it's called "Abfindung" (compensation?) wich takes 50 days to be from -50% down to 0% . You find that percentage in the riders pop-up in the bargain section

How are stages like today's China, with 2 sector, rided?

after first stage, there is a 5 min break.
you get double reg not ten times like after an ordinary stage.

for example: your rider get 35 reg, so he get 70 power back.

after the 2nd stage you got normal power back:
for exampel: 35 reg = 350 power

Today I've got a red jersey I didn't expect cos my rider is drawn to other 2. How are leaders set in every classification when we have a draw?
