Team attack Belgium: Race: Zadar - Split Start Time: 23:00 CET

Post by ATB - Racing » Sat Oct 28, 2023 12:40 am

Belgium did a team attack at km 130:

was recognized by Crazy Vickings and Imperdor.

free team benefiting from that team attack as well and didnt tell Belgium that he has to drop ...

i would suggest a fine for Belgium AND free team, as he was taking a huge benefit out of this team attack

+ free is trying to make "fun" about that team attack and the ones who will post it on the forum:
free team(00:13): but open the thread to feel better about your own tempo+topic
full race chat!
Belgium(00:33): oh yeah, 2-4-6-7
Belgium(00:32): i'm undersalary

Belgium(00:24): even if i lose it, 4 mens in top 7 :p
O Imperdor(00:23): Gw work for free Belgium
Belgium(00:22): let see now

Belgium(00:21): I guess yes
free team(00:21): karel yes alone maybe already?
free team(00:21): and thats much faster than 76?
Belgium(00:21): Cant you start with 73 for 50m, then 75 for 100m, then your 2 sprinter?
free team(00:20): how does 75+73 help me if you launch with 88?
Belgium(00:20): You didnt work today, your 4 guys were still very fresh
Belgium(00:20): You have 2 launcher, you would overdrive me easily, no?
free team(00:19): but tbh i still dont get your attack belgium^^ with mickael you would have had the best launcher and not unlikely to have the stronger sprinters in my wheel
Belgium(00:18): Nice Karel :p
free team(00:18): i hope the sprintteams chasing so hard right now dont forget that they need to block km158 too
Belgium(00:17): and 158-159
free team(00:17): ok
Bon Gamin(00:16): you're welcome guys :)
Belgium(00:16): alone with Karel on 153
free team(00:16): karel not even trying yes alone? gg^^
Belgium(00:16): 10" :o
free team(00:15): km151+158 will kill us
Belgium(00:15): Karel still quite fresh
Belgium(00:14): we gonna make it
free team(00:14): too bad geyer wasnt following matteo or mickael :D
Belgium(00:14): I wouldnt believe no one would react after the 129km attack
Belgium(00:13): we can actually make it
Belgium(00:13): lol O Imperdor
free team(00:13): but open the thread to feel better about your own tempo+topic
O Imperdor(00:13): Karel go back in piloto team attack
Belgium(00:12): Why? He's not even in the same group, And I didnt attack, 3rd one was only a follow
free team(00:12): do you find hector in the first group?
Crazy Vikings(00:12): yes
O Imperdor(00:11): 130*
O Imperdor(00:11): Think team attack in kms 140
Crazy Vikings(00:10): *forum
Crazy Vikings(00:10): a teamattack too, i will write it in the foru
free team(00:09): even more with Crazy Vikings and OMG Berlin riding for a sprint too :p
free team(00:08): doubt we make it anyway
Belgium(00:08): so I have my chance :p
free team(00:07): and 2 or 3 more km red tempo
Belgium(00:07): But 4 mens vs 3
O Imperdor(00:07): 73-75 vs 76
O Imperdor(00:07): Not chance Belgium vs train
Bon Gamin(00:07): wtf
free team(00:06): i didnt attack
Belgium(00:06): yes I just have seen that haha
O Imperdor(00:06): Sucker mode free. Favo and you attack
free team(00:06): hector would be a teamattack anyway so no reason to wait
free team(00:05): all in Belgium?
free team(23:48): you can make a 4men train too. i wouldnt mind
Belgium(23:47): you have a 4 men train, work a bit :p
free team(23:45): so lets wait another 15min, no problem
Belgium(23:45): no chance to win today
Belgium(23:45): I'm the outsider of the outsider
Belgium(23:45): I wont work today :p
free team(23:43): i am fine with waiting for Belgium :)
S L Benfica(23:36): free
O Imperdor(23:32): I'm in
S L Benfica(23:32): ok
Bon Gamin(23:31): yup

ATB - Racing(00:52): really bad here: free didnt say anything and take a huge advantage out of this situation
ATB - Racing(00:51): OR if you do a team attack than just drop one.
ATB - Racing(00:51): that is the risk when you attack with two riders ... simple, just dont hang than.
Crazy Vikings(00:50): Ovo, the Manager from CV say at 23.10: "...Zudem wurde uns geraten, in Zukunft jeden auffallenden, noch so kleinen Delikt sofort zu posten".................yes, when ATB dont post earlier, we will do it
Belgium(00:49): Yes ATB, but how could I know he would follow with a rider that I follow with another one?
Crazy Vikings(00:49): the crazy vikings, which starts in protest, say 'thanks' to ATB for posting in the forum!
ATB - Racing(00:48): 3. Chained Attacks. Escape (attacking or following) with more than 2 riders of one team at the same km out of the same group. This rule is deactivated: - if ≥11 riders from ≥4 teams escape, or - if the original group has ≤14 riders, or - if there are ≤20 km left in the race, or - if the road incline is ≥4%.
ATB - Racing(00:47): when you inscribe for a race the rules were shown to you
ATB - Racing(00:46): its part of the rules. in this case rule 3
Belgium(00:46): I would say it's maybe the peloton fault, they should react since I attacked on 129 and have been followed there
Belgium(00:45): I must have the choice since my rider should stay with the one I wanted to follow, no? Otherwise, I lose all the advantage of the move (I didnt want....)
Belgium(00:44): Why Felsenland?
ATB - Racing(00:44): Nilk, für dich gehts dann im Forum weiter
ATB - Racing(00:42): yeah right Belgium, you have to drop him. free know that he should point out that to you ... but naaaah he just benefits from the situation
Felsenland(00:42): the attack with 2 riders was active, the follow passive and against the rules, so you have to drop that rider in my eyes
Belgium(00:39): the thing is I cant know if one of the rider I'm follow gonna follow my attack, the 3rd rider has been back in the peloton directly
Felsenland(00:39): genau!
free team(00:35): ihr 2 habt euch echt gesucht und gefunden^^
ATB - Racing(00:31): oh Lord
ATB - Racing(00:25): Hector?
ATB - Racing(00:24): oh yeah team attack
Felsenland(00:14): free team(00:12): do you find hector in the first group?
Felsenland(00:13): Mickael David hätte zurückfallen müssen

Homepage Crazy Vikings:

Short Message

Ovo, the Manager of the CV Team (which drives under protest) said on the October 23rd: "...We were also advised to immediately post any conspicuous offense, no matter how small, in the future."

Yes, when ATB don't post earlier this team attack (from Belgium) and the argumentations (from free Team), we would have done it.

Felsenland(01:02): the FPC has to decide that Belgium. As I wrote, you have dropped the wrong rider in my eyes
Belgium(00:58): I had 2 riders from the first attack, and 2 riders from the 130' one in the same group, which is allowed, isnt?
Belgium(00:57): But my rider wasnt even in the group and I stopped the effort
In my eyes, I should have the choice since it changes completely my race. An to be honest, on the rules, it's not even writed which rider I have to drop. In the situation, I didnt wanted to send my other rider in that attack but, right after, the situation of the race changes and the fact is there were 3 riders sent from me (which i didnt want if I need to repeat)

So one havent even joined the group and I stopped the tempo to be back in the peloton. It's written nowhere which rider I need to drop. Here, I just bring the situation back to legit since I have 2 riders from 1st attack and 2 from the second one in the same group, and that's allowed.

the rest is pretty easy to understand too. 3 belgium guys moved, 2 ended up in the front group and made tempo. 1 didnt end up in the front group and waited for the peloton a few kms later.

km 131 I tried to comeback with Hector, then free told me it would have been a team attack. So km132 I stopped tempo and he was back in peloton.

free team(00:06): hector would be a teamattack anyway so no reason to wait
So Hector didn't end up in that group? Can you confirm that?

FPC Decision: No fine, no ban. The rule 3 team attack was immediately resolved after it happened and Belgium gained no unfair advantage from it.

I apologize for the inconvenience I have caused.
it were three teams who were convinced that this was a team attack.

Well next time we had to have a closer look.

It was, but he immediatly react and let the rider fall. It can happen sometimes when you attack and forget, that you hang on a wheel. If this happens often, the FPC maybe take another decision.

It was a team attack. Chained team attacks can happen, it is important to quickly resolve it (rule of thumb is to let fall a rider that didn't influence the group. Here the 3rd rider didn't reach the group and went back to the peloton. If all end up in the group quickly let fall a rider that didn't ride in the group. Quickly because even if the rider is not riding, a helping advantage could potentially influence the ourcome of the race)

dont forget that one team even recognized the teamattack AND told belgium how to act accordingly, just none of those teams you wanted to highlight in a good way. you even mentioned said team three times in your first post, weirdly enough never in a good way, even denying that he nocticed the teamattack AND told belgium he had to drop. but as you already said "Well next time we had to have a closer look."

UNAUSSTEHLICH!
